Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Would be good to nab Sloan if he ever gets a release from the Dragons - seems like they have a lot of unhappy players there

The no-show from 27 of the top 30 NRL players at Tuesday night’s end-of-season club presentation at Pyrmont’s Doltone House speaks volumes to the narrative that St George Illawarra is an unhappy camp.

Why would Munster or any other top elite players sign with the Tigers or any other perennial bottom team . Don’t take it personally , it’s more about choice. Great players can get good money playing for good sides, so why play for a crap side.

In saying the above, I think the Storm will slide a tad over the next few years till they rebuild their pack.

Also I am not convinced Munster is the guy you break the bank for. Great player, but not sure he would drive culture and change. Anyway back to the bargain bin and the pathways road, don’t know why we even bother fishing for big fish

There is a common dominator here .. where ever Hook goes .. unhappiness follows .. Broncos, Penrith and now the Dragons. Its either he's a nose coach that demands a lot from his players .. or he's just a grumpy A-hole bastard coach that players hate .. !!

Dragons fans seem to have inside mail seem "that Spencer has signed with them".
Dave Piepers from Zero Tackle reported on twitter yesterday that Spencer was with Penrith officials at lunch, He thinks it's extension - so shall see how it plays out

Trouble at St George and Manly.

To be fair on WT, Bellamy stuck by Munster when he was working hard on his bad boy image. There's probably still some of that in him? so, maybe he feels safer not swimming in the fishbowls of Sydney and Brisbane, where he will carry the burden of each loss. like Brooks and others? Melbourne is an AFL city where nobody knows his name.

9 news reported last night Seibold and Hannay being looked at as options to coach at Manly. According to 9 news, players have allegedly been told to tone down their praise of Des. DCE cops a lot of flak be he stood up for Des in his interview so well done.
what a circus that is. Hasler shouldn't be blamed in any capacity for what happened over there this year. he is the only reason they managed to come out with any credibility post-pride saga. any team would struggle without their best player, not to mention a complete debacle overseen by their admin with the jerseys that Hasler and DCE had to clean up entirely by themselves.
