I've come to the conclusion that this forum is split down the middle.
Group A. Quite highbrow for a league forum, they post well thought out and constructive thoughts.
Group B. Toothless, illiterate halfwits, the type you'd assume were Souths fans.

That's a Sheens-esque spine, imo.

With the forwards you mentioned.
That can do some damage and compensate for our average backs.

think Brooks is keen for the cash at Newcastle doesn't mean he is not like any other player even papali who signed from Parramatta, players can sign a year out.
If and that is a big if he did ask for a release that was when madge was coaching
Don't think Sheens will let him go in 2023 unless Frizell is on offer at newcastle

Just because he’s 7 dosent mean he will be a run the team halfback

Benji wore 7 and played 6.

Both the 6 and the 7 will be 5/8s and Jacko will play 7 from the 13 like we already saw this year.....

My Penrith mate rates Staines much higher then Laurie. Thinks his ball playing is very good and he is a fullback, not winger. I'm not convinced but hope he is right.

He was the best fullback in NSW cup, so I guess short of signing an established NRL fullback, it's the next best option. He has spent the last few years watching how hard Edwards has worked to improve his game, so I think there is a fair chance Staines will work his butt off to make the 1 his own. I also believe Sheens will have Hastings controlling the middle from 13 with Laurie wearing the 7. Hastings and Laurie doing the short kicking with Doueihi doing the long kicking. Just what I think Sheens will do.
