Hastings and Laurie are the ones I want to keep.
I want to build some sort of culture.
I like Daine because he's young and still learning. In two years playing behind a good pack, he'll do do well imo.

The way I read the JAC signing with the Storm was: Frank Ponissi came to Sydney earlier in the week that we played the Storm and signed JAC before he made his debut against them.

Nice balance in his running and has good pace.At 18 there is still a decent possibility his defence can be improved if it needs to be

Now he's getting well wishes .This forum was ridiculing him from about Rd 2 onwards . I thought he was good in attack and a bit weak in defence as is most of our backline

They went broke and could no longer field a side. The only reason Balmain juniors still exist is because Wests Ashfield prop them up. Had they been financial they would still have had the option to field a team in NSWcup.

I can't see how any cup side would be profitable or even self sustaining given the very small crowds . So I keep hearing tigers are bankrupt and Wests Ashfield has all the money .Doesn't sound like a stable relationship

In all the years I've followed this club, I've never seen such a swift clean out.

It's only half the story though - now they need the signings to stick.

Sheens knows how to build a roster which suits the style of game he obviously wants to play. Despite all the doom and gloom of the Maguire hardcore, the club is in a good position.

Remember Chris Lawrence? His defence was awful when he was young

He was a great centre and clubman throughout his career. One of those backs who could hold his pace over the distance once he hit top speed. I wish we had a centre of his ability now.

He had 2-3 years at top level, outside his pace he had too many deficiencies early on when he was a kid and then his body let him down later on….

Great fella, bit dark on him for speaking out against the club on the news inside his front door coming into that last year…

He worked hard on his defence and he was the best hole runners we had. Running off Marshall was one of the best recollections I have of his game. His injury was most unfortunate.
