Article in the tele from Ritchie, claiming Parra should be fuming the Tigers are speaking to players while they're on world cup duty.
Does he mean the way the Tigers should have been with Matterson and Moses being offered contracts and enticed to dive while still playing for the Tigers.

They all talk to each other.

Im just happy that the Tigers are finally in the game.

for anyone that doesn’t think Moses will even entertain listening to Sheens and Farah, i’d think again. his family is WT to the core. grew up supporting them as a kid and Sheens had him training with the top squad as a schoolboy.

if we sell him the dream and Uncle Benny picks up the phone, he’s definitely going to give it some thought.
Maybe Uncle Benny could offer the boy a huge TPA, apparently still has the penny he found.

Where were the Magpies in NSW cup from about 2013 until more recently?
Ha ha - you know the answer to that. The saviour Sheens in 2012 sacrificed Wests by placing all NRL players with Balmain Ryde Eastwood. Wests got hammered most games and ran last without a win in the season. It was decided that seeing Wests were shit and to avoid funding of 2 clubs they would combine BRE and Wsts and play under the Wests Tigers banner. Didn't sit well with either Wests or BRE who had made the grand final in 2012. By 2017 Balmain were broke and financially contributing absolutely nothing to either the NRL or Cup side. I have no idea why, but guess it was because of financial reasons the NSW cup reverted back to Wests Magpies.

I don't necessarily agree with the decision but i can see the reasoning behind it. Unfortunately we have been a pretty fractured club from day 1.

Gildart set to join The Dolphins with a contract announced in the coming days.

32 players featured in multiple games for WT in 2022, only 17 remain for 2023.

Fans have wanted players in before players have been released but any movement before next Tuesday is a win for the club when it comes to cap space and contracts commencing.

4 players released from ‘23 and/or ‘24 contracts in approx 6 weeks. Another important part is ‘23 contracts start being paid/honoured next Tuesday.

One criticism previously was coach/club sitting on contracts they never agreed to and then having to ride them out while always having the ‘not his player’ line rolled out. Sheens and Benji have circled the names and got to work to move players on that they didn’t want.

So far Sheens & Benji have been making the right roster decisions, if anything they are exceeding expectations at this point with how well they have removed players not needed (and some of those on decent coin as well). The crunch will be on who fills the roster spots.

It's way too early to judge how they are going. Let's wait and see what happens. We should also recognize some of the decisions are out of their hands. Assuming Brooksy is off to Newcastle in 24 they haven't released him he has made the decision to move on.

But they love peddling the "Newcastle desperately want Brooks" story 18 months before he was available

Peoples thoughts on whether Feledy is good enough to take a centre position in 2024?
Can only go off what we’ve seen in juniors, and from that, he’ll definitely debut either late in ‘23 or ‘24.

He’ll almost 100% at least make his NSW Cup debut sometime in 2023 which will be a good test for him (first games at senior level).

AD would only be in Moses ear about coming to the Tigers if he was staying too.

Clarkey posted some nonsense.
Theyre probably in no rush because a deals already worked out.

I'll be very surprised if AD leaves.
Brooks though, he's got one foot out already.

I see your saying what I've been saying that we've got a pretty fractured club and its this and all the other instabilities that create our reputation and its that fractured image that has been a turn off for the top stars . So maybe time to make a gesture of unity and give our reserve grade side the same name as our nrl team . The cup side are not really juniors anyway keep the separate entities for Matt's, Ball . I tend to forget the history as I'm only interested in the future
I'm sure part of the new 3 past hero's coaching idea is to say to the nrl community - take note its a new era and we are going places . Back that up with the gesture I've referred to
