And you can not sign players who don't want to play for the Tigers maybe you could ring around a few player manager's and ask them why they don't sign up

I don't know why people get so upset by his comments. I suppose they don't like it when he states only him and The Pom have good inside info. It's a bit look at me.
It doesn't really bother me though and I appreciate any info other than the crap I made up the other day.

Benji attracted players.
No idea now, but definitely when he was playing for us at several points. How many New Zealenders did we have playing for us at one stage? I had understood that Benji was a factor in Beau Ryan staying (then eventually leaving... ok probably for new material), Tim Moltzden, He inspired Curtis Sironen heavily (who later left). I did hear Tyson Gamble praise Benji and quite a few players regard him highly. I also heard Moses Mbye praise him. I can't remember who, but someone signed on with us and said Benji was their inspiration and mid press confrence they were told Benji was leaving ... They shrugged and carried on.
^none of that means ANYTHING now.
Benji has to be able to speak with Authority and get the playing group behind his coaching. Benji also has to come up with Gameplans that are more then "hey lets do this trick" and identify long term weaknesses and redress those.
Players will look up to Benji, Probably look up to him more then Potter, Jayson Taylor and others. Cleary showed though if you have the right attitude you can coach. Bennett, you had better have rubbed off some of your magic on Benji.

Yes he is. I agree he would be closer to the 1mil-1.2mil mark.
We also won't be doing a Souths and signing RTS or Mitchell Latrell for 400k ever.
Ofcourse we would be talking a 800k minimum to get RTS here. Unsure too how well he suits our team, great player but we have seen New Zealand a team of great players under perform.
Our team really needs to get our forward pack right and all last year we punted forwards.
With: Naden, Staines, Laurie, Nofo and Ken M in our back line ..maybe even Doueihi.. It's the go forward that we need to upgrade. Yes would sign gun fullback but we need to get our forwards going.
