I just want to say that you joined today...welcome....
Hastings is a very good player,he has excelled in ESL by winning the man of steel award as did our own Pat Richards...he also showed us last year what it takes to lead a team around the park something your HERO Brooks has found impossible in 10 years..
you have found so many faults of Hastings but fail to find faults in Brooks such as poor leadership,kicks out on the full,cant get repeat sets off the 5th tackle consistently and has never played in finals football with a team that was constantly told that it was his...
So thank you for your valued input and enjoy the forum....

And what about the 9 previous seasons with the imp where he's practically a mute on the field, apparently thinks the oppositions shins are where the ball is meant to go, gives away 7 tackle sets with his garbage short kicking game(since it's inception). How about not showing a modicum of leadership at any stage of the game, especially in clutch moments with the game on the line. Or how about showing little to no long passing over the course of his career? Or how about a mediocre short passing game where his inside man loses the ball because a) he's thrown a bullet pass less than 2 metres away or b) hasn't communicated to his inside man?

We have had to endure that garbage for nearly a decade now from Brooks. And you want to knit pick at Hastings who played half the season with an injury and had us looking like a organised team when healthy? You, Sheens and the rest of the bootlicker clan need to wake up.

I like brooks when he kicks the ball dead in an attacking position.
He certainly knows how to build pressure on other teams

You can continue to bash Brooks mate but it’s to no avail , people smarter than yourself want him here so end of story .Even the immortal Joey John’s wants him so there are people that see things that you don’t

So who is good for your family friend? He's had 4 coaches now, two of which are dual premiership winners and they still couldn't help your boy reach is non-existent potential.

He's now got yet ANOTHER multiple time premiership winning coach to help him. What excuse will you use next if he fails AGAIN?

Once again, like most Brooks fans, you can't argue the facts and resort to appeals to authority because you lack either the intelligence or courage to justify your absurd stance.

Ask yourself this aceshigh...if Brooks was your highest paid employee wouldnt you demand far better than what he has given us in 10 years...
I dont care about a coke snorting has been that was good in his prime or the so called smarter people than us...he hasnt taken us to finals in 10 seasons and has had every excuse made for him over those years...Yet Hastings was given an opportunity with us and in 1 season showed more passion and the will to win than Brooks has in his time..
I think the wrong guy has left the building if true...

No problem with Brooks staying but he has never lived up to a 900k price tag surely someone in charge has mentioned that ?????

Benji spat the dummy and left,but came back living off his glory days..
Farah was basically forced out the door,but always thought he was the WTs...

As for Brooks he has had plenty of chances,his speed and defense are great but cant lead as a halfback should...
Why cant this club have the balls to thank the past heros for what they done,but start looking at fresh younger people not tied to the club to do a job as they are expected to do,whether its coaching and staff.Admin or players...
Api and Paps are Madges buys,Sheens has nothing to do with that recruitment...he better start looking for decent players signed and sealed for preseason so the hard work starts early...
I hope the old boys club really get results this year,because this forum will have a meltdown if we cant win more games than we did last season....

I'm hoping the new coaches can succeed I feel if they do we can finally get some real WTs culture in the joint... The DNA as dopey would say.... Much like the Broncos, they have past greats everywhere on their staff passing on wisdom to the juniors
