i'm not a Brooks fan. I was in under 20s and as ive said before his debut match was a curse for us.

But i also see a lot of experienced coaches want Brooks so i really dont get it. He is so polarising. Reminds me of Fitzhenry...bit differeent...

Haha! none of that is true . The confirmation bias on this forums hive mind is out of control. No wonder there’s been a mass exodus .
It’s been widely reported newy we’re going to take the full freight of brooks contract next year . So I don’t know what you’re talking about .

Meh let's hope it doesn't bite us, would be very tigeresque to move Hastings on and pine our hopes on our nearly 200 game veteran that has never produced.

Anyway it is what it is all I can hope for is we do well next season who ever is the 7 needs to produce or hit the exit door.

And they have a lot of faith in the 2 young locks we have matimua and I cannot remember the other players name but he’s from qld

Hastings sees him self as a half so he is going to a club where he can play his preferred position I just hope we have enough leadership around the place without him

Doesnt matter how much crap you want to talk mate....BROOKS HASNT DELIVERED AND IT WAS ALWAYS HIS TEAM...your love for the guy is admirable,but that doesnt get us winning results....

Yeh rite, some of us are just over the fact we continue with the same bloke who has failed to produce for the club for 10 years.

It's called being real and I guarantee if Brooks was offered same money and longer contract at Knights he would have rode off into the sunset.

He ain't a 900k plus player and at this point unless Sheens can somehow fix him I can't see anything changing.

He was pretty good for Adam Reynolds. He's got a premiership ring. Even the great Wayne Bennett could not reach that feat with him as halfback.

At some point you have to stop blaming others for Brooks lack of development. We've all heard Potter, Taylor, Madge, Farah, Benji all being blamed for it.

The problem with Madge. He was set in his ways and couldn't change with the game. Made come across as a nice bloke but the fact is the squad and results went backwards under him. The senior players are a fault too.
