And who are you to judge Bryce,,,,the conversation never included you....he has stated he isnt new....I still keep my same account and name so I can be honest with all of you and myself ...I dont care who he keeps mentioning,he keeps drilling the same stuff into us and we who have been with the club since inception are quite entitled to our opinion ,,,,Turning on new members with use of their catchphrases now as well it seems. Sad, as this wasn't you.
Try reading his posts please, as he has obviously been watching this team in some form for decades. Even making comparisons to players from the last millennium in posts you reference.
They know they get clicks.... Just look at this thread ffsSad state of affairs for Aussie RL when lead stories are around a bottom tier team taking a questionably average player as a second choice, when they couldn’t get their original first choice average player, from the wooden spooners and it’s like it’s of earth shattering importance.
Reinforces the real or perceived power and value of WT click bait media strategy.
Bulldogs!I haven't notice any clubs apart from the dolphins doing much in the player market.
The good thing is, we can’t sign players Benji doesn’t want in his team. So whoever Sheens signs will either be short term or with Benjis agreement otherwise. You can have all the pedigree you want but the fact remains that he has not achieved any sort of success in over 10 years in RL, was sacked from this club and another with poor roster decisions being one of the many reason at BOTH clubs.
So lets not pretend that Sheens is some master administrator or coach these days. I respect what he has done for both Canberra and us but you can't keep living in the past.
They’re the new roosters … move along nothing to seeBulldogs!
I'd be keeping him as well ... He definitely competes well..Whats the old saying CP..."one mans trash is another mans treasure"...
Sheens and co consider Hastings not included in our future..OUR TRASH APPARENTLY and NEWYS TREASURE....
I hope Jacko kills it up there,he is quality and did well for us even when injured...
Dont you think that if Benji does make it as head NRL coach then he better buy players to suit the teams needs...we went down the road of who coaches prefer and that got us no where....Matalino,Reynolds,Packer and Mbye come to mind when Cleary was here...how did that go?The good thing is, we can’t sign players Benji doesn’t want in his team. So whoever Sheens signs will either be short term or with Benjis agreement otherwise.
I doubt Sheens can ruin our roster, not this time.
There's two sides to the coin eh.
It makes sense... and doesn't at the same time.
I guess it depends on the results once it's all said and done.
Hastings - he was good this year but clearly the brains trust don't see a future for him with us with the plans moving forward.
Brooks - hasn't been good any years (except arguably 2018 or whenever his Dally M Half-back year was) but the brains trust see value in him (like many before them.)
I guess we gotta strap in and see how this plays out.
1 Greg InglisHe was pretty good for Adam Reynolds. He's got a premiership ring. Even the great Wayne Bennett could not reach that feat with him as halfback.
At some point you have to stop blaming others for Brooks lack of development. We've all heard Potter, Taylor, Madge, Farah, Benji all being blamed for it.
dogs signed 40 players - cap space isn't their problem. some more medical retirements coming from a few clubs I'd sayOne issue that greatly changes the player recruitment/retention landscape is this proposed cap increase. It explains a few things, like the way the Dogs have approached the market and the asking prices of some players. It will enable clubs to hang on to players that they couldn’t have afforded previously eg Moses and Brown, or it will assist other clubs to enter the market for elite players increasing competition.
All of a sudden the market opens up and teams like the Roosters for example become options for guys like Moses.
Either way the cap increase is probably not a good result for us.
Hobbo is 60 and has early onset dementia. Pretty insensitive of you. 😐More ammo ? You’re a loser dude! Straight up. It’s like I said , your in 7th grade English organising a fight behind the school . Arnt you like 30 ?
🤣They offered $600k for Brooks.
🤣Keep dropping snide remarks because you have neither the spine or intelligence to call someone out directly or defend your absurd takes
Think it's because we gave brooks so many years to get us to the finals.now we are willing to give Hastings the same amount of yearsGeezus the way some people on here waffle on - you would swear we top 4 bound until Hastings broke his leg according to some on here. Brooks gets crucified for not getting the side up so whats the excuses for Hastings failing to do so as well.
Hastings won more games at halfback this year than Brooks. Madden won more games at halfback than Brooks. It's just about wanting to move on from a 9 year liabilityGeezus the way some people on here waffle on - you would swear we top 4 bound until Hastings broke his leg according to some on here. Brooks gets crucified for not getting the side up so whats the excuses for Hastings failing to do so as well.
Agree with you on this Paws. He is going to be worth a lot more as 7 and if Newcastle want him as 7 he would he would be foolish not to take it up.
