Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Salary cap increases for 23 and 24 plus another team might be introduced after that which will see it rise again.

$1.4m a year isn’t dumb cash for a quality player that will win us games. There just isn’t many of them in the NRL.

Our expectations of how much a player is worth will all be reset over the coming years as the days of a key player being on 5-600k will be gone once their existing contracts expire.

Tedesco, Manu, Munster, Cleary,Cheese, DCE, Moses, Tamaloula, Hass, - These are players in the 1 mil and overbracket, and the top sides know they are worth 10 points a game to them, Considering at a guess an average score is around 30 points. they represent value for money, This is a rough estimate only.

Where are you hearing about Herbie? And Jedi Tiger is hearing a Nofo - Cotric swap?

I know it’s like almost impossible but I really hope somehow we can get Latrell Mitchell for 2024
We can only dream right?

Past performance IS An indication of future performance....

I think we adjust his salary and just accept him for the talented player that he is.
Prey tell, what talent are you talking about,
Kicking the ball dead.

Your a stat man aren't you sleeve, moses must rate high for Parra with touches, passes, assists and tries for himself etc, He is the main man in their attack.
He's also put on a little bit of muscle without losing pace compared to when he was at the tigers, back then he was a paperweight.
I'm reading that the tigers have one more big signing after Bateman.
Surely we wouldn't have salary cap room would we to sign Moses....or do we?

Tactical from Sheens, let Hastings go to keep Brooks and AD who may have some sway on Moses.

Anyway, no need to get up in arms about the 1.4m offer - the Bulldogs, Roosters, Souths, maybe Storm will come in with a 1m offer that will blow us out of the park.

Souths and Storm won’t they have Hughes and Illias. Roosters could depending if they give up on Sam only Bulldogs and Tigers I see him heading to unless he decides to stay at Parra.

Cap space should be fine to make an offer for Moses but we definitely don’t have as much as Dogs do.

OP said that our pack is better than Parras 2022 pack - I disagree....
Then you mention saying that Bateman if he comes for next year our pack won’t still be better than Parra’s pack for next year so you didn’t know that they’ve lost a lot of players or you misinterpreted what the OP was saying.
