I think but I'm pretty sure it's usually after round 8 or 10

The Tigers are doing it wrong though. They should have Moses there with Lee betting 50k a hole with him and losing (Uncle Nick style)....

We seem to be confident because of Api ,Papalii , and Klemmer signings a couple of years ago we got excited about the Leuleua brothers and a Penrith prop called Tamou and a year ago excited about 2 Wigan stars Hastings and Gildardt . I agree our pack a bit better especially if Stephano who is a real line buster can stay fit . However our entire backline doesn't thrill me with same half's we've had for years and imo no specialist centers . Tommy Talau used to be a half decent center but now I am told no longer fast enough .
Weve got many wingers and no decent centers . Maybe Naden can adapt ?
Maybe Staines?

Did anyone really ever get excited about Gildart though?

He is the sort of player a team like Riff need. Minimum contract, experienced back up for injuries, suspensions and rep season. He has very little impact on your salary cap yet can do a job if and when required. Clubs like the Storm love these players.
As for us we have plenty of them but they are not on minimum contracts!!

It has been mentioned Bateman's partner who's an Aussie has already moved back to Aus with their child and he has stayed back to finalize affairs in UK (has allegedly just listed their house in Wigan for sale). Read into that as you will however it would appear certain a move is imminent, the only question is will it be to the Tigers.

Oh yeah 100% agree, all I'm saying is there's no guarantee it's with us though would appear likely based on all the chatter and that we're the only club that's been spoken of in any potential move back to the NRL for him.
