I think he is Sheens pet project.

Sheens wants to play a attack based game plans and the kids got some ability to offload. Other parts of his game are bog average, but I guess Sheens see them as fixable. I think the balls in the kids court, do the hard work and get the rewards.

We seem to be confident because of Api ,Papalii , and Klemmer signings a couple of years ago we got excited about the Leuleua brothers and a Penrith prop called Tamou and a year ago excited about 2 Wigan stars Hastings and Gildardt . I agree our pack a bit better especially if Stephano who is a real line buster can stay fit . However our entire backline doesn't thrill me with same half's we've had for years and imo no specialist centers . Tommy Talau used to be a half decent center but now I am told no longer fast enough .
Weve got many wingers and no decent centers . Maybe Naden can adapt ?
Maybe Staines?

It's a tired cliche but it's true.... If the forwards can bend the line and get the defense retreating then Brooks will have time to kill...and hopefully make right choices... Everyone's gotta be on the same page though I have it burned in my brain him curing back inside.on the 4th... No one knows what he's doing because he don't communicate... He's swallowed by a couple of forwards and ourr last tackles under a massive pressure

Any rebuild you start with the forwards than the backline. It would appear we now have close to a top eight pack and a bottom four backline. Anyway I have expect our backline to step up a notch or two under Sheens and Benji and having some grunt up front to play off

i Think with the new guys our pack is much stronger , opposition will be looking at where Appi is , and if we can go forward Brooks will have a bit more time we just need Pappi and Blore / Bateman running off him like Chris Lawrence did , we didn’t have this for years , Klemmer going forward followed by maybe Steff then Joffa gives us real starch , Then you have both Brooks and Appi moving around , opposition’s will be looking at this all game then you will have backrowers chiming in , this is before we even get to our speed in Naden , Nofo , Staines , upwards and onwards , Top 8 for us , it will be a slow start till they gel but once they do away we go , Get Positive folks

A bit of trivia for you all: while foolishly engaging in the above Sironen shenanigans 🤪 l looked him up and was amazed to see that in 1994 he was offered $500k per season to join the Sharks. Wowzers! And that was 1994!

Again, at what point did i highlight that his height was a factor in his rubbish football skills. All you are doing is virtue signalling and even worse, dragging memories of service people to prove some type of point. It's disgusting and should be called out.

Very optimistic , which is great. I'm a bit more cautious , a lot has to come together, The halves, the threequarters, Fullback still looks weak, combinations with new key players in the mix will take time. The main thing is that we now have some direction. I think when Sheens took this job, is was on condition that he had full control, and not have recruitment overruled by the mates club, and nervous nellies in the Tigers hierarchy !

He doesn't fit, he needs to fight. There will be competition for spots and we cannot rely on him or Blore to cement a position all year following severe injuries.

Talau has a lot of work in front of him. I think he is class though, and I expect him to push for a bench spot given he can cover backrow, lock and outside backs.
