We might actually be strategic for once!!?
So 2022 we lost a bunch of forwards like Luke Garner and Thomas M, etc. They weren't great players but some of them filled spots. We axed them and I was wondering if we would need them later....
Could we have been strategically culling our forward pack of Average?
You add Papalii, Bateman and Klemmer you get a far better pack. Koroisau isn't known for good defence but he is at that Origin level.
I suspect the room for a Bateman level player was made in 2022.

Todd Carney would've been good in "how high can you piss" contest... I know he is good enough to get it as high as his mouth.
We have released over 14 players and the cap has gone up we will have heaps left
I think you might be surprised at how good Api is defensively, when you see more of him.

All well and good to have the money, but it doesn't matter if people don't want to play for us.
That situation, i hope will change, with improved performance and future signings.
IT's a long way to the top, if you want to Rock and Roll !

We have Klemmer, IP, Api and maybe Bateman coming to the club. I don't think that comment is valid.
If anything I think it's more the players we were looking to retain that have been the issue but it sounds like we haven't played their games this time round.

Going on from my last, things did not pan out well over the weekend, as you would be aware by now Warrington Wolves have released the following statement:
"George still has two years left to run on his contract with Warrington - end of story, you don’t sell your best players and we are happy with George and he is happy with us so he is staying right here"
But you never know the power of money. All talk with John Bateman have gone cold, not sure what the club is waiting for or doing there, as of last week they were pretty confident and about to announce his signature, but no talk or movement since then.
Big news regarding an injury, one of the young fella's during full on running / training drills, stubb his big toe in the turf and has possibly fractured, but hopefully only strained his big toe !! This member is none other than assistant coach Benji Marshall, whilst showing the young fella's some show and go moves.
