I'm not overly fussed with him but we don't have any locks to be honest. I'm happy for a year then make way for the youth 2024.This is a waste of a contract. We have heaps of middle forwards. We need some gun backs including halves and/or fullback.
Which centre are you referring too? Not really any available.Ridiculous if WT do not improve the quality of their backs prior to start of this coming season. Surely the club has a at least a quality centre ready to sign to play 2023.
I don't think it will make any difference to our hopes of signing good players. Every club gets the increase and our offers will just increase to the same proportion as the Cap increase. IMO the cap increase just means that all players will be hoping for abit extra in their bank and all NRL players will have a new value as to their worth in the market. The dodgy clubs will still cheat regardless of the new cap amount. The cap increase is an absolute disaster for our hopes of signing good players. Suddenly all clubs have an extra 2 million to spend. We'll have to be paying a million bucks for anyone decent to join us from now on. Moses would now easily get 1.4-1.5 million.
Talau to have a breakout year, can hit a holeWhich centre are you referring too? Not really any available.
Start Bateman for 2 years then when blore is ready blore starts Bateman moves to the bench and plays his last 2 there4 years? Reckon club option 4th year. A year to long otherwise.
Farnsworth stands out as a centre.Which centre are you referring too? Not really any available.

NRL transfer market news: Wests Tigers closing in on English star John Bateman
How good! Things are looking much nicer for the tigsThe Wests Tigers are closing in on the signature of English forward John Bateman as they enter the final stages of negotiations with Super League giants Wigan.
News Corp understands that the Tigers are expected to confirm the signing of Bateman on a long term deal in coming days continuing their remarkable metamorphosis under coach Tim Sheens.
Bateman starred in the NRL for Canberra before returning to England at the end of 2020. He is set to return to Australia next season in a Tigers forward pack bolstered by the additions of David Klemmer, Isaiah Papali’i and API Koroisau.
The Tigers are also in the mix for Parramatta halfback Mitchell Moses and Penrith centre Steve Crichton, although they face stiff competition from Canterbury for both players.
Bateman shapes as a significant addition for the Tigers, having recently been part of the England side at the World Cup. He is expected to link with the Tigers in the new year, once the club has formalised an agreement with Wigan.
News Corp understands that the Tigers will pay a transfer fee to free Bateman from his Wigan contract. He is then expected to sign a deal with the Tigers for as long as four years in a sign of his belief that the club is on rise under Sheens and assistants Benji Marshall, Robbie Farah and David Furner.
The length of the deal suggests Marshall was heavily involved in the decision - he is due to take over from Sheens at the end of the 2024 season. In the meantime, Bateman’s arrival will provide the Tigers with more ammunition in the forwards as they look to lift themselves off the bottom of the ladder.
My bet is Nathan Brownwho will be our 13 in 2023?
