Gonna full on deck it out for some 4WD beach adventures.

2022 Isuzu MUX arrives in the country next week.

I gave up driving a car about 6 years ago and went to a scooter. I live in Asia so I do as the locals do.
No more sitting in traffic or parking issues, No expensive maintenance or gas. Costs about 20 bucks a month in gas for 320km range.
I could never go back to driving a car and all that goes with car ownership.

Long story short - I've had a 1955 Matchless G80S 500 for 39 years. Had an accident three days after I bought it and the bike burnt to the ground.
Took a little longer than Jesus but it's alive again - short clip of it's first run on rego:

My son purchased a DMAX 2022 4x4 from the Car Giant in WA. There was a 6 to 8 month wait via our local dealer. It took three weeks to transport and is such a new model his was the first of its type registered in NSW.

Have some interesting decisions to make in regards to cars ...the 2010 Camry is about to give up the ghost

The mechanics found about 4 k of repairs ...and we should never have brought the Kluger ....didn't have a choice of the bigger SUV's it was the only thing available and the IX35 was done .....we thought we'd need the bigger car for trips but because the dog babysitter is unable to look after dog anymore to go someone stays and looks after dog if where we are staying isn't dog friendly ........few sleepless nights about what the smart call is now ......

Test drove a Mk7.5 Golf R a few months back and was mad keen to purchase (prior to test drive) as on paper it ticked all the boxes.

It was ‘nice’, that’s about it. Weirdly high driving position and nearly dangerous throttle lag. They shit water pumps every few years too which is expensive outside of warranty.

Bought a BMW M140i of the same age instead, which is hilariously fast and much more engaging/raucous when putting the foot down (3.0L twin scroll turbo)

Today is the one year anniversary of my ownership of my Mazda BT-50. It was the last of the ford 5 cylinder motors before they went to the Isuzu 4. I love it, it’s dark silver and black tub dual cab, with big black mags that stick out past the body. I have installed some smick black side steps, a really flat style black tonneau cover, and gas struts for the tailgate.

Very nice mate. Only got a glimpse of the BMW, was it a R100S?

Allan Keed, that's a blast from the past, he and his Brother Ron (from memory) painted a few bikes for me and my mates back in the 70's. From memory they were painting out of a house garage around Arncliffe way and from memory the street was cut in half and the 2 halves didn't join up, so got lost the first time I went there.

Just got an email from Toyota - apparently massive upgrades in tech so a 2k price increase.

Can't guarantee it'll be ready for April but said Toyota has stopped taking orders until they've caught up on production.

See what happens there 😵

Speaking of Toyota .. my father-in-law purchased/ordered a brand new Toyota RAV4 Hybrid more than a year ago .. but Toyota hasnt been able to deliver it to date .. and they havent been able to give him a delivery date .. !! Should have been a 2022 plated Toyota but have no idea when its going to come .. how bad is that .. !!

Some one told me some parts are made in Ukraine and hard to get due to the ongoing situation over there.

Covid has had its effect too.
Massive delay on all Hybrids and they haven't been able to keep up with the orders.
