Haven’t heard anything of late about Albert Kelly but now see he has been added to the Indigenous squad.

I often wonder if Cleary or Moses were behind our pack last year if they would have done any better. I don't know.

I think the simple answer is no, it’s damn near impossible for a halfback to create anything from behind a forward pack with no momentum, most times you’re kicking from inside your 40 on the back foot with their forwards raining down on you because of a slow play the ball, all ya can do is chip bomb for field possession, must the loneliest feeling

I was only young at the time those guys were coaching. I will say the quality of league at that time was better IMHO. The players today are more athletically gifted but the players of the 70s and 80s were just tougher.
How do you compare the coaches you mention to say Bennett, Bellamy and Sheens.

my comments were regarding the quality of the league's radio personalities/game callers/journalists, and all of those were with ABC sports. Sadly, after Wilco left it was not the same anymore (IMHO).

If a swap was to come off,my guess is it will be a centre. ThereI are 5 centres listed, not counting Doueihi. My guess will be Starford Toa who's name will be put forward by the tigers.

we're going to have to offer a genuine first grader with upside to even get them to pick up the phone. wouldn't be surprised to see Doueihi head for the exits.

Even though I fear Redemptions reprisals ...what upside does Toa have ..you can't get a solid footing in either the Knights or Tigers backline from 2020 -2022 ...thats not good form
