Mitchell Moses #175

I can't see the issue with Mitch Moses telling his team mates, coach and fans he is leaving the EELS. It seems like it was no problem for Dominic Young, Thomas Flegler, Herbie Farnworth, Christian Chrichton etc. It has been a business since all the NRL Clubs stopped the Meat Raffles and selling Footy 1st tryscorer cards. Come on Mitch take the money and put on a Black Gold and White jersey

Went to school with a former Bondi player, very well known and loved by Roosters fans. Used to regularly frequent the local drug dealer, even after moving on up. It's rife in the game was
Then and is now. What angers me is in 2002. Kevin Mcguiness given a 2 year ban for ecstacy. Craig field given a 2 year ban for cocaine. Mcguiness came back after 1 year because of all his community outreach but Field never came back he tried to fight it in court and it was the end of his career.
Meanwhile in Newcastle Ponga gets food poisoning and nothing. Three quarters of the Titans team are Coke heads, everyone up here knows about it, nothing. Different rules for different fools.
If half the stories I've heard are true, especially Colombian nose candy, tonnes of players are mad for it.

I have no issue with him at Club Level at 34
DCE is still playing Origin at a similar age...

If we can upgrade - I also think Moses would be sellable at 32....
Look at Titans buying Foran for decent money,
Dispite his history on and off the pitch.
Only issue is MM is probably more reliant on his running game than DCE

Again ...my point was .....Buzz said 800 k .....the figure I had heard .....was 750 k ....not saying either I was correct or incorrect ....was just a comment

Honestly the nrl do nothing about it even though they know about it. I reckon if right now they randomly drug tested every first grader before the season starts, there wouldn't be enough players to fill 4 teams to play in the comp.

They do random tests, also WADA, but you are very unlikely to be able to catch recreational stuff because it's out of their system pretty fast.

I've heard stories about how the players know if they play on X day, say Thursday or Friday, then they can have a bender and be right for any tests Monday morning. I believe it's extremely rare to have unannounced or at-home testing done, but even then you just stay at a mate's house until you are good.

Remember the story about Luke McDougal, Mad Pup, rocking up to training and seeing the unexpected drug testers: jumped the fence and ran off.
