Now that Moses is gone I reckon we at least need to sign an up and coming half to progress and put Pressure on whomever is in first grade.

Joseph O'Neil at the dogs Flegg squad would make sense. Oloapu has the future spot lined up on his big money deal. He'll be looking elsewhere, we have no one in the halves in NSW cup or Flegg. No prospects whatsover.

Now if only we had a player to trade with the dogs. Oh wait, we did but rather than get a player in return that will help us we released Kautoga for a few bucks and now have no leverage.

Volkmann the other option worth exploring ASAP

This is an indefensible position considering the career JAC has had imo. JAC scored some electric tries in his brief stint with us and some of those tries none of our 1-7 could come close to replicating. Some players are just so obviously talented you should not let them go.
 
People criticising POM like they have better mail.

There is honestly no incentive or reason to post inside mail on here if you have it. None. Even if your mail is right 90% of the time, you will get scolded for the other 10% where the club has been mislead by media/management or something has changed. Better to keep it to yourself, not worth it.

Be appreciative for what is/can be given.

It is interesting that most complain about the leaking of information by the club, but then also complaints that there is no credible information being shared. You can't have it both ways. Either you want nothing getting out or you want information.

Stop talking sense!! But jks aside, think the first three rounds has so clearly highlighted (not that it needed it tbh) how poor so many of our spine are. Honestly think Douiehi to right centre, Staines + Tupou wings and pretty much the entire side is looking pretty good other than 1, 6 & 7. Bummer how critical those positions are though....

Look, RTS is past his prime. A good player still, but past it.
Manu is clearly mid prime.

I don't see RTS as a technical player, like JAC who could teach the team a hell of a lot. Manu could achieve a lot.

Look we had Teddy, Ryan Pap's and JAC.

Clearly we would not hold onto all of these.
However we placed our eggs with Moses, Teddy and Brooks, Stuffed the signing timing and their greedy manager tried to play them all off at us at once. ... (Genius till you realise you can't actually do anything with it.).

And yet after all those mistakes we kept Pascoe.
 
Surely we go to UK and target a half and Welsby. Surely $500k even $750k transfer fee , which is outside cap, is the least of our problems at this point in time . We keep hearing we are financially well off, time to put it to use and turn this team into a semi team.

Forwards are almost set, Tupou/ Naden/ Staines are quality… we need a 1 and 7.

Don’t understand The Poms comments we won’t pay it . Hopefully that’s wrong like the rest of his post.

Moses not signing and Brooks going to UK and other movements surely we have $2M to spend next season .- and room to bring in someone this season.

I don’t have better mail but I also don’t put bullshit information out there for internet credit. No one asked him to post about Pascoe. He volunteered it with specifics and was dead wrong…unfortunately.

I think readers are just frustrated. He is wrong a lot of the time so I think you would have to be incredibly naive or desperate to take his word as the gospel. Anyone who thought or stated Moses was on the verge of coming knows nothing and should never be listened to again, that was the litmus test.

Bit like the chicken and the egg. We need to win to get the class players to come here, but need the class players to win.

Does anyone know whether we have a halves academy or something of the like to start developing our own? Of course they would be years away if we do, but we should be making sure we are never in this position again.
