Kit Laulilii is the one making his Flegg debut, he's a lock forward.

Was captain of Wests Harold Matts premiership-winning team from last year, and captained Wests SG Ball in his first season at that level, this year.

Luke Laulilii is his younger brother, a fullback, who was captain of Wests Harold Matts this year.

I think Kit will be first to break through.

If I had to pick one from that crew coming through to get excited about, it'd be Da Silva.

Can definitely see a 2024 NRL debut for him, let's hope his trajectory stays on the up.
Agree. Da Silva is the best of the crop. Just has to keep working hard.

Miller is next for me. Keen to see how he goes against men in the next 18 months though.

Da Silva, Kit, Miller, Galvin and Fa'agutu are the ones for me that have NRL written all over them. Mason has been coming along well too of late. There's several others in that crew that are capable too. Nice group of juniors to keep an eye on though, that's for sure.

Does anyone know why Taj'h Colquhoun was played in the Laurie Daley Cup this season and not SG Ball?

I thought after last season he was on a trajectory similar to Heath Mason. Very versatile, fast with x-factor who can play fullback or halfback. From memory he shared the CUBS fullback duties on the tour to NZ last year with Cameron Kanaan.

Yeah was a strange one. He stood out for the Laurie Daley side. Even killed it on the wing at times for our winning Harold Matthew's side last year. Hopefully sticks around and gets his shot next year.

Meh… they are alright.
Nothing to write home about yet.

KR, you reckon Da Silva is big enough at this stage for first grade?

Has already gone from Dragons, to Penrith, to Souths, to Wests Tigers in the junior rep system.

Haven’t seen him play but haven’t ever heard much about him, and doubt he’s anything special if no-one seems very desperate to keep him.
Spewing. Was hoping he may have been someone to try in first grade after Round 10. No one can be worse than Brooks in the 7

I’m hoping given Mason’s rise at fullback he finds his way into the fullback position in Flegg too. We are crying out for a decent one at the back.

Mason is slightly built, but plays with high energy and toughness required for a smaller player to succeed.
He seems very good with his positional play at fullback and a good on field talker/communicator, being a former halve maybe he could even transition back into the halves as his running game is certainly dangerous.

He's just average. Not fast, strong, evasive. Can't see him going higher than flegg anytime soon, the fact he was training with first grade is a worry though he was Captain at keebra and a mainstay there yet Bula was fringe and has truly overtaken him
Does training with the tigers hinder their development? I couldn’t imagine training with the worst NRL team of the last 10 years would be beneficial apart from the odd diamond in the rough

Good to see Da Silva and Kit get a run in Flegg.

Really disappointed that Faagatu picked up that injury as he is the furthest progressed of all the Flegg boys.
