What are peoples thoughts on trying to lure Luke Metcalf back to Australia ?
I realise he has picked up a hamstring injury , but will now be stuck behind Johnson, Walker and Martin when he returns at the Warriors.
He has been behind DCE at Manly and Chad Townsend at the Sharks for a few years now, but has been pretty consistent in that time in the KOE for Newtown especially.

He'd be our best half. Beggars can't be choosers.
Many clubs have 3-4 genuine NRL half options, we don't even have one in our top 50 players. Such incredibly abysmal recruitment over past several years.

We had Jock and Jacko,2 great depth players to step up in to the NRL side when needed,BUT the NEPOTISTIC old guard thought Brooks will be our saviour after 10 dismal years...aahh well it is the WTs Sheens Benji Farah ,you know 18 years ago we won a gf....
Different game,rules and plays,but lets stick to the glory days .....absolutely pathetic from the Heads of the club down to the coaching...
I also see that the Warriors played a fantastic game against the Storm with Webster at the helm...we had him but chose Benji as an up and coming coach with NO PRIOR COACHING EXPERIENCE AT ANY LEVEL...therein lies the problem of this club....

We can't go into the market thinking like that, because we'll end up back in the market after failing with whoever we take a gamble on - JUST because it's not Brooks.

Yeah I don’t like this crazy idea of trading Papa, we have only just got ourselves a decent pack let’s build around it, not start to dismantle it.

The only existing player I see as a potential halves option is Laurie, but only as a 6. Partly because he is casual. This rubs some people the wrong way, but he doesn't seem fazed when he makes mistakes. When this happens to Brooks and AD they go into a shell.

How many poker games is rusty gunna lose to Jack up at Nana Glen to cover the gap. Do they do it over a series of games or just get the mil done in one night, it’s a conundrum.
