Is that all it took?
No video sessions highlighting historical strengths and weaknesses as opposed to current, with identification of where form has dropped and how to get it back based upon statistical analysis and game involvement, positioning, effort and attitude?

What happened to him?

He was a dead set weapon a couple of seasons ago at Manly and thought that he had finally come good.

Must be spending too much time in the car park sleeping when he should be at training, oh and we also know that he never wanted to be at St.George.

Such a wasted talent, and Schuster could go the same way if he doesn't get back on the right track.

I thought he played well for the Dragons last year but Hook switched from left centre to right centre & he just hasn’t looked the same

Thank god Suli went full Suli today. Dragons would’ve pulled that from the fire without him.

We're not too far behind in that regard, despite playing some terrible football, we've lost 4 games by a total of 18 points.

Apart from the Broncos game disaster our other biggest losses have only been by 12 points.

Doesn't sound too bad when you consider how rudderless we have been for the most part.

Having said all that, I expect that unless we turn things around dramatically, next round against Souffs could end up another nasty blow out.

I’m no where as happy or satisfied as I usually am after a win. The last second heart attack to almost lose the way we usually do, probably doesn’t help.

In perspective, we should have/could have beaten Titans, knights, eels, dogs and Manly this season. Instead we are sitting on bottom of the ladder, almost losing to the crappy side we are competing with for the spoon.

There’s some light but the tunnel is long.

They just need to tell Wakeham to run more, he’s really a dynamic runner but appears to be trying to make no mistakes or whatever,,, looks a bit like MBYE trying to get someone/anyone to take the ball and run it , anyone but him.. it’s a shame because he has I all when he pins his ears back

That is a revisionist take.

We started this year with long term injured players returning, others who returned late last year having an offseason under their belts, new coaching staff and let’s not forget…the addition of 3 current and 1 former internationals to our pack, plus a speedy player who came from the NRLs best system out wide.
Make no mistake, we were a mid table team who with some luck may have scraped into the 8. We have thoroughly underperformed this year.

That said, we are lucky that this season is so close…we are only 3 wins out of the 8! Anything can happen I guess.

Do you think we have fixed our defence?
For mine it is more evident that due to our improved pack, we enjoy higher possession percentages and better field position than normal, thus limiting opposition scoring opportunities.

The 17th for points scored is damning, especially given what I just said, plus our focus on attack all off season.
