Anthony Field wants to buy Wests Tigers

I agree on West Tigers!
But I don't like reserve grade not wearing Wests Tigers!
And I think there is too much black on the jerseys. Prefer a colour combo with at least 50/50 black-gold design reflecting a " Joint Venture".
No offence TS but too much black? Really? So, using your thinking, the magpie on the jersey should be as big as the tiger?
These stories are just drivel. If Anthony really said all this then he’s had one smash too many in the big red car. It’s delusional.
Dean Ritchie is a flog just like his DT colleagues. We are all giving this story way too much credibility.

Just out of curiosity...how much would this club be worth?
I dont think Field would require a lottery win or have to sell his company to buy the joint, hed have enough already.

You didnt read the OP?
Media beat up guys. Was only a hypothetical over a long lunch with Benny, Blocker & Siro.

Only the dinosaurs needed the clarification
O

Here we are in our 24th season and someone that is supposedly a Wests Tigers supporter, and one would imagine, someone smart enough to know that what he is dreaming about is a complete impossibility.

As if we don't have enough problems and obstacles holding us back already, this clown comes along and tries to drive a wedge back in to open up old wounds.

Is this really coming from the Blue Wiggle or is this Dorothy the Dinosaur's idea?

I think he his 'vision' is actually the wrong way around.
He needs to realise that if this was to be viable, it should be the Perth Tigers, with a few games played at Leichhardt each year to appease the faithful.
As for Wests, I think they should break away and become the Wests (Pasifika) Magpies, where the SW can embrace their cultural roots but play most of their games out of Campbelltown.
The Tonga/Samoa/Fiji games played at Campbelltown or Penriff each year are awesome! Time to tap in.

Just another piece of fluff to push a media company’s bottom line. All it achieves is to stir up the old Tigers vrs Magpie thing and that is the last thing we need.

For a club that has been in the doldrums for over a decade we certainly must be the go to team in the Sydney market place for the media when they want some ratings.
