Warriors are playing very well this year with him leading them around brilliantlyWhy are we aiming so low. The guy's a perennial underachiever.
It's no surprise the Sharks improved 100% when they pissed him off.

Where should we be aiming? Who is off contract and a better option? Why are we aiming so low. The guy's a perennial underachiever.

I think the plan is to promote a junior and pair them with an experienced guy for a couple years at 6 then move them to 7 and promote another one, most likely LargeHopefully we can land Johnson. He’s a risk but given who is available they’re all risky.
Then we have to sign a 6. I’d like to improve this position but if we can’t if Brooks plays another month like he has the last 3 weeks I’d be okay with a 1 year extension at a lower salary. I still think he needs a change of clubs but we can’t roll with a Wakeham level player at 6 next year.
Lots of us are still pissed off with him too... Fkn losercatch up for a drink pretty regularly with my mate and occasionally Humphrey's he is really pi##Ed off mate his son will not be here, can't tell you reasons why just from horses mouth that's all

No chance - although I hope he has a successful future with us.I was about to respond and state there is no chance that kid will be in first grade next year.

I'm not a big fan of the SJ option - but realistically, I think the brainstrust sign him for two years and Brooks gets a 2 year extension - Wakes even might get a 2 year deal as well to play cup and fill in when Brooks plays origin.
And that's their plan.
Not impressed.
Meant that large is probably the second one when the experienced half retires, I'm not sure who the first one would be
That makes sense.Meant that large is probably the second one when the experienced half retires, I'm not sure who the first one would be
Well said.Shaun Johnson is a great player and he would be a huge asset IF we got the best version of him. It's a huge IF because being in NZ and his family situation are big factors for him. I would question whether he'd becoming to us just to collect a pay cheque. I suspect he has a tremendous amount of respect for Benji so he wouldn't dog it, but I have my concerns about if he'd be able to keep motivated, especially if he doesn't bring his family across.
We don't have any juniors to promote. None are ready guys for first grade in next couple of years!I think the plan is to promote a junior and pair them with an experienced guy for a couple years at 6 then move them to 7 and promote another one, most likely Large
I think Shaun Johnson would be the best possible halfback to recruit for next season, but I’d say it’s highly unlikely he will leave the Warriors for a second time.We don't have any juniors to promote. None are ready guys for first grade in next couple of years!
Paul Brian Kent - Charge matter and ADVO listed for Downing Centre Local Court next Wed according to the on line Court list.

It’s rumoured Pearce is asking in excess of 500k to come back and play for us, leave him in France if he expects that type of money at his age.
If the club is smart, they would INSIST SJ brings his family over and they would set them up with housing etc...Shaun Johnson is a great player and he would be a huge asset IF we got the best version of him.
