Have no sympathy for him what’s so ever , the bloke is on $800,000 plus per year , has the backing of a club that has all the resources if he reached out , but instead he’s taking money from team mates , if this happened to any of us we would be left to fend for ourselves, he needs to pull his head in because if it true he’s been on this path for years .Hopefully the Roosters try to help him rather than just giving him the boot.
lol dont do it man, these blokes always let us down.I’ve stupidly convinced myself that we don’t need to recruit anyone if we can perform like we did against the cowboys.
don't really think this is accurate. aside from a backrower and a half which has been reported and a couple of depth signings I don't think you're going to see 'sweeping changes' like last year.TIGERS SET TO MAKE SWEEPING ROSTER CHANGES FOLLOWING OFAHENGAUE'S DEPARTURE
The Sydney Morning Herald’s Adrian Proszenko says that Wests Tigers fans should expect more list changes soon following the departure of Joe Ofahengaue.
Proszenko said that with the recent appointment of Scott Fulton as head of recruitment and room in their salary cap, plenty more movement players will come and go at the Tigers before the end of the season.
“You are going to see that Tigers roster change now that Scott Fulton has come across.
“There are already talks about a few Manly players that he may target.
“The composition of that roster will change.”
Fulton was controversially hired from the Manly Sea Eagles by the Tigers board who didn’t consult the coaching group.
SEN’s Scott Sattler has warned against the Tigers pursuing a handful of players from one club.
“Wests Tigers, be careful of signing players from one particular managing group,” Sattler said on SEN 1170.
“It terrorises your playing roster.
“You can’t continually file your players through one club because it ruins you.
“We’ve seen it with the Gold Coast Titans who wanted to sign two players but (were forced) to sign another six.
“It weakens your top 30.” (SEN)
I was actually thinking that earlier.lol dont do it man, these blokes always let us down.
Our current depth is still worrysome. We have managed 3-8 record out of 13 rounds this year with a pretty healthy squad. It could be argued Adam Doueihi is the only missing player that would fit back into the current line up...and he has only missed 5 games so far.
Reasonably long term injuries to Api, Klem or Bateman will sink us. Any combination of those losses will deliver another spoon...this year or next.
Additionally, our pups are still learning to walk. They are coming along but need time and therefore we certainly require another round of recruitment before they hit the big stage in any consistent capacity.
It is a dangerous game to put all your eggs into the promotion of development players basket when your club has stunk up the league for 2 decades. Those guys have talent, but did they set SG Ball on fire this year? Maybe DaSilva did. As a collective, they still have a fair way to go. Id still be going to market and if we are looking to move these guys up, then we have to move others out who havent stood up.don't really think this is accurate. aside from a backrower and a half which has been reported and a couple of depth signings I don't think you're going to see 'sweeping changes' like last year.
I think it's pretty likely we're gonna clear a path for the likes of Fa'agutu, Miller, Laulili'i, Sukkar and Da Silva to make their way into the top 30 (Feledy and Mansfield already signed to top 30 in 2024). it's been spoken about internally and externally that we want to promote our youngsters as opposed to going to market.

keep in mind that we have a lot of very good leaders amongst the group now that will assist in their development in Klemmer, Bateman and Koroisau and to a lesser extent Utoikamanu. I'd argue Feledy, Fa'agutu, Miller, Galvin and Mason were all excellent through SG Ball, as was Laulili'i and Solo Saukuru. It is a dangerous game to put all your eggs into the promotion of development players basket when your club has stunk up the league for 2 decades. Footballers get paid weekly mate if he is gambling heavily its a possibility, him and munster are both big gamblers and both been caught with coke. Robinson has said several times he wants to develop smith as a human not just a footy player. I think this story has some truth to itExactly my thoughts.
People who start this crap are disgraceful. I don't believe for a second Smith has had to borrow money to cover gambling debts.
Promote two many and the ship will sink , we need a driver to show the kids the way , at present we got the forwards but we need a class back to teach and direct themdon't really think this is accurate. aside from a backrower and a half which has been reported and a couple of depth signings I don't think you're going to see 'sweeping changes' like last year.

I'd be throwing the chequebook at Hunt.Promote two many and the ship will sink , we need a driver to show the kids the way , at present we got the forwards but we need a class back to teach and direct them
aside from Frizell and one of Pearce, Hunt, Metcalf or Te Maire Martin I don't think you'll see any signings that are major. I know Benji's a fan of Adam Pompey but we're covered for centres and you'd think Staines will be re-signed as the backup fullback, if not potentially Taaffe comes in.Watch this space
We'd be surprised
Don't rule it out
Regarding the players selection: "It is what Tim Sheens rejects, that makes the WT the best"!😉Promote two many and the ship will sink , we need a driver to show the kids the way , at present we got the forwards but we need a class back to teach and direct them
