Michael Ennis, Greg Bird, Ryan Tandy*... none of those played for us. Sure we had some noname steal club merch. Sure we had Packer but he did his time. ok and the other forward who did kidnapping in new york...
I can't even remember Craig Field running out for us and he played less then 50 games for us.
Scandal wise, I think we haven't had that many. For a Westie club, were batting Way below the average and we need to improve! Cmon guys, go get some 5 finger discounts from Aldi or steal a few cars or something. Westie's we have a reputation to maintain!

He's on the extended bench and won't play unless someone drops out also isn't on a top 30 contract yet

Da Silva is at #22 and is most likely there as a bit of a teaser for him.
Unless something really dramatic happens he will drop out of the final 17/18 as we get closer to game time.
This will be incentive for him and is an opportunity for him to either train/be around the NRL squad and could possible be that he could get some limited minutes towards the end of the season when we get to the stage where we are definitely out of contention and have nothing left to play for.
Think of it as something like Stef being around the Origin squad, he is unlikely to get a game unless something fairly dire happens, but just him being around that squad and mixing with other highly professional, high quality players, lifts him and adds to his development.
Think back a couple of years ago when Stef was around the Origin squad and how when he returned he went up a gear to a higher level and it was only through injury that his progress stalled for a period of time.
Can't wait to see how he goes after being around this year's squad.

I would like to think that we will eventually see a TDS debut over the next months.
The Titans game will be 3 in 8 days for Api, no origin players vs Storm and Sharks. TDS now moved to Cup.
Suspect they’ll transition him in a similar role to Farah. Few games over the next 18 months off the bench then they'll likely ‘pull the trigger’.
Jake Simpkin is too indecisive with the ball, and not one for my liking.
