Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Scary thing is our coaches can have a vision of where the club is heading with our juniors, but if things don't improve on and off the field, I can't see any of our best talent hanging around
You're missing the point - not on purpose of course - if the coaches had a vision - the talent would not leave. Hence the current coaching structure is not working. Their vision seems to be distorted.

Well, sheens and benji were going to sign someone with the same management as benji.

Fulton won't sign anyone until benji and sheens stop annoying him.

Meanwhile, we have the worst roster in the NRL with no signings.
Tony Soprano - I feel your love - but - in fact - we don't have the worst roster. We have an international pack with Bula in the backline.

There's currently 3 conflicting articles generating - that I've read. Not sure what was in the DT but this is the latest from WWOS.

Chammas also reported that the Tigers had held "secret meetings" with a number of player agents who had become concerned "with the development of young players" under Marshall and current head coach Tim Sheens.

"They want assurances that there will be changes to the coaching staff next year, bringing in someone like Justin Holbrook or John Morris," he said.

Marshall is scheduled to take over the coaching reins from Sheens from next season.

However the article from the SMH included personal quotes from Api Koroisau's manager, in support of Benji and Sheens.

Btw everything I said that I heard two weeks ago is happening… lol

Everyone outside of the club is worried with sheens benji vision and our players are going to want out.

Can’t believe mgmt have stuffed this up again.
I find this very hard to believe. Our mid term vision is to build a squad around our local juniors, surrounding them with quality proven players.
Our vision for this year was top 4, which seemed a bit delusional to me, but aim high and hope if you miss you're not too far off.
Our vision must include being top 8 next season, aiming for top 4 the following year and pushing for a premiership in the subsequent years, integrating juniors where possible throughout.

How can agents or players be so opposed to this?

And other teams just buy local juniors. Aka. Scott Fulton, Roosters & Bulldogs

Bc maybe they don’t believe they can pull off the vision

It’s one thing having a vision

Every team says they have one

But people then have to believe you can execute

Otherwise it’s just words…

Obviously they don’t believe sheens benji can do it

I assume

It's long walk from Queensland. Need to be a few thousand people involved to get their attention, they won't give a toss about 1 bloke.

I’ll come down from Queensland to support a rally if this self-sabotage continues. It may be the only way to save the club, a club I have loved since the early 80s.

I am saying wait to u see the blood letting tomorrow, think we may see a big change in the tigers coaching structure in the coming weeks
I had hope Benji had grown up. This sounds like the 2013 Benji if he wants to hold the club to ransom -to satiate his own ego and pride. If he has matured and evolved like I had hoped he has he will be able to rise above it all by laying all the conflict out in the open and resolving it and they move together in unison with a new purpose and shared vision.. perfect timing for players to see the club on a new harmonious path and the time tomorrow to announce the big signings… this is an opportunity,, it could turn out to be the perfect catalyst
