Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I am saying wait to u see the blood letting tomorrow, think we may see a big change in the tigers coaching structure in the coming weeks
I had hope Benji had grown up. This sounds like the 2013 Benji if he wants to hold the club to ransom -to satiate his own ego and pride. If he has matured and evolved like I had hoped he has he will be able to rise above it all by laying all the conflict out in the open and resolving it and they move together in unison with a new purpose and shared vision.. perfect timing for players to see the club on a new harmonious path and the time tomorrow to announce the big signings… this is an opportunity,, it could turn out to be the perfect catalyst

Or - its Nemesis

If it’s the right decision, then so be it. I still say imo it only went south when Tim moved from Football GM to Coach.
We should have stuck to the original plan and selected the best available coach, then Benji could have then be made one of his assistants.
And this all overseen by TS.
Maybe Sheens is paying off a debt to the club?

when Holbrook got his marching orders from the Titans ..,I didn’t think he would be the new saviour of the Wests Tigers a month later…

dude has underperformed on the GC with a far superior squad…
The Saviour. So long as he brings those 2 forwards with him with the clause in their contract.

I think they feel that was an “old boys” leg up.

No one respects nepotism

Benji has not earned his spot and sheens hasn’t been in the NRL for ages

Obviously losing has just caused this because if we were winning it wouldn’t matter

But bc we are losing everyone is saying “it was a nice pipe dream the old benji sheens combo … but you can’t have a coach with no experience and expect results”

And now agents don’t want to send their players somewhere where it’s not even working with sheens as mentor … imagine when he leaves… benji is still jumping in the seasons and getting tackled and you have Robbie thinking he owns the joint

We lack professionalism

And it’s just gotten worse
Benji is not the coach yet, so why are you And others blaming him for anything. He is an apprentice for one more year, till then he is not the boss.

I don’t know why people think Fulton has so much power…
He works UNDER Tim Sheens and Benji.
They discuss our roster, identify a weakness and set a meeting with their recruitment manager. I expect it goes something like this…

Tim: Scott, we are short in the centres. We want a primarily defensive player who is more than decent in attack.
Fulton: Understood, I’ll put the feelers out.
Tim: Scott, it’s been a fortnight, how are we going?
Fulton: ok, I’m garnering interest from the managers of players X, Y and Z.
Tim: Player Y suits us. I’ll talk to the big wig and get the ball rolling.
Pascoe: Tim, Board is happy with player Y, we can go as high as $535K for 3 years. Company C can find a further $50k for him.
Tim: Scott, start negs, we can go 3 years, try and keep them under $550K all in. Meanwhile, keep player X on the hook. If this goes south, we can work with him.
Fulton: Will do.

Etc, etc, etc….he does not work autonomously. He is not an equal. He is under direction of the Head Coach who has to work within the parameters set by the Board through their rep, Lee and their direct report, the CEO. The Head Coach and the Board agree they need to strengthen the centres. The CEO provides context as to what we can offer and the Head Coach sends his Recruitment Manager off to secure the players signature.

If Fulton is running around disobeying the Head Coach, then piss him off. Insubordination should not be tolerated.
DO AS YOU ARE F%&$*NG WELL TOLD!!!!!

Just sharing what I heard

I assume bc benji basically is the coach

That’s what’s been alluded to

Sheens is there to “take the bullets”

Also benji went to the meeting with the Fainus … not sheens …

This “interim” bullsh*t is confusing everyone

Bc as you say “who is the coach?”

It’s a cluster f&@“

Obviously he ain't working with Tim, Ben & Robbie. Over or Under.

First time in my life where I genuinely believe the club deserves to be folded... For the life of me can not be bothered to care any more. People often say that the success will be sweeter after going through the tough times but it seems the tough times continue to pile on. Constant turmoil is what you get with clowns in charge
