Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Well they employed Fulton so if they backtrack it will make them look stupid. But they have endorsed Benji every step of the way so that causes equal hassle.
The answer imo is who can do the most for the club moving forward, and only they can decide that.
Its them that have caused us to be in this bloody position, by employing fulton, prior to this happening everything was tough but something we were working through.

Now, since fulton comes to our club, there has been negative shit occuring affectively stopping
Tim & Benji from being able to do things they need to be doing.

And we have plenty of Forum members asking for Tim & Benji to be sacked, What on earth 4.

A decision made by Wests Tigers management shouldn’t be used in an argument to prove a point.

Sheens Got us to within a field goal of a grand final in 2010 too and hasn’t coached all that much since. His record speaks for itself.
Sheens record certainly speaks for itself.

Before this season he hadn't coached in the NRL in over a decade (because no other club is that stupid) and out of his previous 15 years coaching in the NRL he made the finals 3 times.

This is what happens when pascoe and Lee strategy keep changing

First, let stop hiring coaches without WT DNA

Second, we want a recruiter to get the best players in Western Sydney.

I get strategies can be fluid but in this scenario you can't have both. So what happens next?

Also, operationally the contracts offered to tim and benji does not fit with both strategies.

The money spent on payouts could of been spent on kids, so they truly screwed themselves.

Would be cheaper for fulton to go, but it will send recruitment back.
What recruitment.

I find this very hard to believe. Our mid term vision is to build a squad around our local juniors, surrounding them with quality proven players.
Our vision for this year was top 4, which seemed a bit delusional to me, but aim high and hope if you miss you're not too far off.
Our vision must include being top 8 next season, aiming for top 4 the following year and pushing for a premiership in the subsequent years, integrating juniors where possible throughout.

How can agents or players be so opposed to this?
Come on man. Because we are about 1/100 odds to achieve this.

I know it's great entertainment for those that believe everything the clickbait heroes print.

But they get it wrong way more often than not. Tucker's view on Fulton's relative power in all this should be read 5 times until it sticks. He's one part of a much larger machine.

There's probably elements of truth through it all. Benji & Fulton have probably clashed over a few players- Brooks being an obvious one. This Cogger vs Sezar makes no sense as Cogger has (if you are willing to believe the journos who are driving this) already rejected the idea of coming to the Tigers.

To quote the Great Orange One- False News.

Sheens has, for some time, said they were chasing "an experienced half". Looks like they got one. That doesn't seem like a deviation from the plan to me.

On one hand we all applaud the stopping of the leaks. Then we all go into nuclear meltdown when BUZZ & CHAMMAS start saying there's a 'feud at the Tigers' and managers apparently are moving players away from the club.

At least argue consistantly. It was always because Pascoe was Satan reborn. Or Lee couldn't stop talking. Now it's because player managers don't trust what Benji is doing for PLAYER DEVELOPMENT.

Just to clarify- the same club that has brought through Bula, Pole, Tupou & Da Silva into 1st grade & just put 2 players into the U19's SOO. Weird. That actually smells like player development- but what do I know?

What I'll say- it seems most of this recruitment issue with 'the vision' has come about post Fulton & Tartak. Which smells a bit like Tartak trying to get those 2 Fainu boys as much coin as he can bleed out of the club. The Fainu's, by the way- 2 players that Fulton recommended & Benji agreed to- so obviously a big clash there between those 2..

Lastly- it was ORIGINALLY reported that Ray Hadley suggested Fulton to the Tigers FO.

Now apparently Mario Tartak was responsible, according to these unbiased news reports.

If Tartak took Fulton to the Tigers, and then turns around & says "oh by the way- we don't believe in your vision now"....that's a Tartak problem. Plenty of players in the NRL. Move on.

Sure, but at the same time you can't say that our vision is: if everything's goes perfectly we avoid the spoon.
Realistically competing for the 8 next year and then aiming for top 6 in subsequent years is more likely, still a challenge but if your goals are low then your organisation is destined to not achieve anything...

How we felt we could be top4 this year is beyond me, shows a serious disconnect from reality.

Only caught this on a re-read which has me doubting it's Fulton and perhaps maybe Tartak is playing dirty. That's only pure speculation though. But find it makes more sense because Stefano and Papalii were also mentioned (in addition to Fainu brother) and surely Fulton wouldn't do that to the club. You'd think.

If Fulton is in ANY way responsible, he's sacked tomorrow.

I'm hoping everything's being blown out of proportion.
So yeah while I'm hoping for the best...ofc. I can't help but expect the worst.

Going from the article Stefano and Papalii are unhappy. This doesn't bode well for me unfortunately and I think it's poor how it was revealed, they still have to turn up and train and play.

It's all Game of Thrones like stuff, to me.

Well I’ve heard Lee say over the past few years now that we believe the tigers have a roster capable of challenging for the 8. This is with a subpar coach which didn’t understand the tigers way or ‘DNA’ and yet with that same Roster, plus 4 international recruits and the 2nd most experienced Coach in the game we are travelling what could only be thought of as worse then years prior.
I’d say they are out of touch with reality. And the reality is that the Wests Tigers are an armature club run by clowns and respected as such.

Until this random comment was laid out- there's been no indication either player is unhappy. That smells like someone driving that story regarding Stef's contract a couple more days.

Anyone got links to the players on the Aria Management Group 'roster'? That's who Benji is managed by, yeah?

Who is Sheens with?
