I wrote few (if any) options. A coach has a duty of care to his players. Remember how many wanted Blore back in the team immediately but he was held back by the coaching staff to get some game time in NSW Cup. It worked well and I'm pleased Blore has come back well.

I have never seen you be critical of Sheens and you try to defend him usually in the most illogical ways…like this discussion about his repeated selections of AJ ( i assumed you watched his game on the weekend right?)

Now I see you mentioning 3 or 4 times Sheens preseason comments about Bula as proof of being a good coach… bizarre..

I don’t recall Sheens saying in the preseason that we would only win 3 games and get the spoon again… but here we are

05 was special. 08/09 that squad should have made finals
2010 1 point off a GF and 2011 disappointment when the warriors knocked us out of the finals, they went onto the final.

2012 the club was premiership favourites and hasn’t recovered.

But for a while there even when we were a middle of the rode team, we could ambush clubs and cause an upset. Finished 9th a few times and had last round games to make the playoffs. Young players coming through the grades, passionate fans and players who wanted to play for the badge. Balmain and Wests were struggling when we merged but we’re proud clubs.

Now we are an embarrassment, my mates feel sorry for me and WT fans. 6 wins in 2 seasons. I wont renew my membership until Lee and Justin are gone. Anyways this is probably the wrong thread.

For 2024 if we keep Api, Bula and Seizer thats a decent spine. We need to turn it around or all these kids coming through will leave again like the Poles, Bula, Toupou, Steph etc and it will be Another decade of misery.

Tough times dont last. We have probably one more shot next year with the best 9 in the comp

Neither did I but that’s what the club chose to, why don’t you write a strongly worded letter to the club and let them know what you would have done, I’m sure they would love to know.

Look at all the other assistants doing their time, Ryles,Hornby,Young what makes Benji the messiah that he just walks in no experience and everyone just falls in-line, I think the concerns from the player managers with youngsters on their books have valid concerns when you look at it like that.
Benji could be a good coach in time but he doesn’t have any runs on the board to be throwing his weight around. The club thought he would be a player magnet maybe it’s having the opposite affect.

No one wanted the west tigers poisonous cup, not saying it was the right thing to do. Maybe they thought benji was marketable, appeal to the young poly players coming through wests tigers juniors ? Some weird ass deal with another manager ? Not saying it’s right, not even a Nobel prize winner could work this out… yet explain this to a novice in the street - “ sack the pricks “. I sent Mr ceo an email last nite telling them both to resign, both of their positions are untenable. This crap has even thrown shade on the tigers nrlw, which is piss poor. Muppets in the media yet again will just ridicule the women if they perform poorly . Not their fault.

Respectfully… im saying anyone else would be better…

It’s not the u 14s where your local club team might be scratching around for players…they have a reserve grade team and I would put someone into the team that I have never seen play before rather then go again with AJ

But it needn’t have come to that…I have mentioned Naden … but I would even pick Laurie on the wing ahead of AJ… and my opinion of Laurie is low..

no… its not the biggest issue or probably in the Top 10… I just used it as a point to illustrate how inept Sheens is as a coach … if we needed more evidence

Culture is an overused phrase. You need quality players who are professionals supported by a quality team including the coaching staff.

My take is we have a coaching team who have been given heaps of support but are delusional in their abilities.
