Tension between the assistant coach and new recruitment manager have reached boiling point after a series of disagreements over signing targets, threatening to destabilise the club.

Desira held a meeting with the club a few weeks ago to raise concerns about Fulton, who was appointed without consultation with either head coach Tim Sheens or assistant Marshall, who is scheduled to take over the head coaching role in 2024.
Desira’s concerns have been shared by other player managers, but captain Api Koroisau’s agent said his star client was satisfied with the coaching combination of Sheens and Marshall.
“In terms of coaching, Api’s got a very good relationship with Sheensy and Benji,” Giancarlo Lombardo said. “He has a lot of respect for them. Naturally, he’s frustrated with the performances on the field and wants the club to be successful.”
The Tigers have a big problem on their hands. Player Managers run the NRL they determine where most players end up.
There are three options in my view.
Sack Fulton and whomever made the call and supported it Pascoe, Lee.
Sack Sheens, Benji and Pascoe and Lee have to fall on their sword. Bring in Holbrook as coach.
Hire Holbrook as a senior assistant roll with Benji and send Sheens back to pathways and coaching director responsibilities.
In my view it’s time senior leadership resigned effective immediately. Simone like Shane Richardson needs to take charge.

It’s time for Lee and Pascoe to go regardless.

If it’s true that Fulton our recruitment manager is openly coercing player managers to give the tigers a wide berth then it’s time to remove this cancer. For all the crap that he had all these magic connections he has signed no one from outside the club. Must have been a reason Manly got rid of him
The people who need to be removed are the two people who thought this was a good idea.

Idiots should have had Benji and Sheens involved in the decision for Fulton. Now they've burned bridges and set the club back yet again.
For Pascoe to have the gall to get Fulton and Benji to work it out shows a severe lack of self reflection. HE created this mess with the board.
Everyone and the media saw what a dumb decision it was! How can our 2 leaders and the rest of the board not see it?
The board and Pascoe need to go. They could not manage their way out of a paper bag.
