Great to see 250 additional signatures on the petition today. Shows the fan base is uniting. At this rate we will hit 3000 some time next week. 👍

Saw it pop up on Reddit nrl. If it gets enough folks interested there, 1000 can quickly become 10000.

The position of CEO needs to come under greatest scrutiny.

We lose on the field, we are told accountability rests with the football department.

We stuff up off the field, ultimately the Board is responsible according to Lee.

Our clubs image is mud. Standards in the club are low and it’s an unprofessional set up.

Why even have a CEO? What’s his remit?

I would not have said that as much as i prefer Leichhardt to Campbeltown.What i have stated in the past is that Homebush would be the best option fulltime even though i do not like the place much as it is far more centraly located for our fan base

And the rest of us only follow this club due to the legacy clubs. Mightn't be important to you but it is to others.

As for @TieDye and @Tim Sheens comments re a Wests v Balmain thing or @cochise mentioning the Magpies supporters are pushing for a return of the Magpies...this in untrue. Over the last few years on this forum fans from the Magpies side of the JV are not welcomed with the same enthusiasm as those from the Balmain side.

Most move on.

What most from the Wests side want is no dilution of our identity within the JV.

At least I don't bother posting under multiple accounts trying to chip away at the edges.

It’s actually demonstrably no longer important and there’s been a steep decline of tribalism within the sport over several years. Goes to show who’s been paying attention after you didn’t correctly interpret the petitions aim either. It’s barely one full paragraph, and no offence but your strongest point above is totally fabricated.

Not surprising your retort resorts to calling my post (and this forum?) bullshit and suggesting that my comments were directed more at one side than another. You’re making it about ancient history - all it serves as is a reminder of what not to do on both sides of the JV equation.

Both abject failures to finish.

On paper - Wests would have not survived without the Balmain Tigers.

And vice versa. It’s part of the rich fabric of this club, unfortunately people keep dragging that skeleton out.

I think the club fosters this behaviour. 50% even share of games at LO and Campbo, we gotta wear gold at LO and gotta wear black at Campbo. That's not the actions of a club moving forward, that's a club stuck in the past. It will be the end of us.

Apologies if you didn't post that. Perhaps you up voted @Jedi_Tiger post on subject as I'm sure I can recall him posting that more than once. That's fine his view not something I would lose sleep over playing all games at LO but that was my point......those topics I avoid bringing up as they are contra the spirit of the JV and I respect Balmains legacy within it......but others do.

It is of course you’re right not to sign the petition. I have, I think I was the fourth signature. It’s time for change around this Club’s governance, structure and processes.

I would think the petition is the first step. I have no affiliation with the club other than being a fan member. If nothing is done then you can rest assured this old Magpie Supporter & Balmain Junior will be ramping up the pressure. I can see several options for plan B, C & D.

We have already lost a generation of young supporters coming through. We cannot lose another. You won’t see many teenagers or 20 somethings wearing Tigers gear at games.

An external review is a first step in the process. The Holman Barnes Group would put themselves in a precarious position if they refuse to act.

Sounds like you and certain others have taken it upon yourselves to introduce an ongoing disruption to the club at a critical time. You know a plan" B, C & D."

Seen it posted elsewhere here. "Anarchy, precarious position if they refuse to act" etc.

Well this is your prerogative and your decision.

Trouble is I and probably most other supporters don't wish to see the club attacked in this way because despite perhaps the best intentions of the organisers it may well make a bad situation worse.

One thing calling for improvements and another calling for disruption.

Just to make things clear my preferred option is equal games (6) at both home grounds but if it ever becomes just one home ground then Homebush would be the best and most logical home ground due to its location for all of our supporters even though i don't like the place much.

He might be trying but hasn’t succeeded I still signed the petition. I’d like to see these Wests guys get some input as to how to run a football club as well as they run a leagues club; not that difficult is it?
