The most difficult traits to have as a fullback are both instincts and athleticism. Bula pretty much naturally oozes both these things and you combine that with his involvement and work rate at such a young age with barely any NRL games to his name just gives you an idea on why he’s getting the hype he does. Also having the ability stand out on a losing team that’s getting pretty much dominated consistently is further indication on his class. Imagine when he gains that experience and his halves next to him start taking over control that’s when you’ll see the levels he can reach.

The ability to engage the defensive line and pass can be taught. Instincts and athleticism can’t be…..excited to see the player he turns into.
