Well written. Also they may pay heed by watching our leaders play next weekend. With gusto and heart. Like they are playing for themselves and their fans that come out to support them.

We’ve had a core of players that have given their best nearly every game, but not sure how we now get the best out of the ones departing such as Brooks and Laurie ?
Would it not have been better to give them an early release and sign some halves straight away to see what they can do, how they fit into our side and if it looks like being an improvement moving forward ?

It annoys me that the Bulldogs continue to not have trouble in the market, and actually can attract some decent signings. Whether they are the right signings or not...

Meanwhile, we continue to struggle.

A couple of talented kids who may or may not come good in the next 2-3 years isn't all that exciting right now. With what they potentially have in front of them (starting spots), it was a no brainer for them to use us as a stepping stone - like countless others have.

If they play the Panthers tomorrow they get beat by 60.
Their backline is slower and more boring than ours, their halfback makes Wakeham look like Jonathan Thurston and their forwards are a bunch of slow injury prone plodders.
Two good players Jack Welsby and Johnny Lomax, the latter is getting too old.

Dont stress on Brooks and Laurie. Their respective coaches will take care of that. And yes. Brooks was willing to go 2 seasons ago.

I heard a week ago in the media (radio, fox etc) latrell was playing against Broncos then it was cancelled later in the week

Sounds like they are changing their plans on the fly. Their salary cap must be a mess. Faitala-Mariner given permission to leave. Oloapu brought in as the next great half. Now he's going to be a lock. Sign Sexton. Now Sullivan. Are ANY of these guys actually improving their team?

As much as I expect the Bulldogs to get it right, I think they are way off at this point.
