Yeh I’m not sure mate I was sort of answering with a statement with a question u could be right though mate.I thought we made him one? Never played until he made the wts. Cleary was coach?
Yes you are right he played origin once he made tigers my badI thought we made him one? Never played until he made the wts. Cleary was coach?
Please don't happen. That would be the dumbest move we ever made.Surely a Teddy return with Manu inevitably going to FB
It is a better team your right. So it comes down to the coaching.I’ll take third last as preferable to going backwards with a better team
He's not a controlling half. Stupid to make him one. He's a.5/8th running back.Signing Luia would signal a serious intent on the Tigers behalf.
That could even be considered 'aggressive recruitment'!
If the Tigers had to 'make do' for 12 months before Luia could become our #7, I think it's worth the wait.
Agreed,, I wish he’d go now and we could have Latu.. send no tackle Talau as wellJust wait till Brooks is over at Manly...that's going to be lots of fun
Reason is no one is good enough for the wts except for some kid aged fro 15 to 18. Really we need talent in every position. Why we can't at least try and recruit Luai ? Assuming Panthers can't fit him in their cap .
Bulldogs and King Gus seem to recruit non stop . We set our sights on veterans in the UK or reserve grade /bench half's. We sure don't aim high but maybe that's all we can get .I do understand Pascoes Concord is seen as a "loserville" destination .

In more realistic terms, I know Dean Hawkins from the Rabbitohs has been mentioned coming over. I'm surprised that didn't receive as much interest as I thought it might.
Solid player that has sat behind better players his whole career. Kicks well & runs just enough to be a danger. Doesn't mind defence either. In all honesty- when you are at the bottom (and Wakefield & Will Smith suggests that is where we are), it's guys like this that get their shot & can sometimes be just what is needed.
In the search for a bigger, more physical presence out wide- just realised Isaac Lumelume is on a train & trial at the Eels. Been through a few clubs, but he has that athletic build we DON'T have (along with the crazy eye look). Looked pretty promising at the Storm, straight out of the Sharks baby factory a couple of years back.
That's how it works, isn't it? Won't get him in 2024, but off contract Nov 1 next year.So 2025 contracts for players in other teams can be done post November this year?
I'm going to assume he wasn't wholly responsible for those losses.I watched him in his chances in first grade this year unfortunately lost some easy games against Bulldogs and the like.
he would start more than likely and then towards end of the year fainu comes in and sezer heads for the exits on a 1 year dealNot for a backup! Most club's backup halves are on 300 or less.
If Sezer, our first choice half signs on for 425-450k then Sullivan would have to be on much less. 300k is about right for him
How much do you think Madden is on at the Donkeys by comparison?
Hastings left Wigan and bateman joined WiganI never heard the rumours until Hastings was moved on … seems convenient… I had heard he had a falling out with Bateman in the UK… but build a bridge and get over it
so next year, and Manly fires it is all Brooks... pleaseCan guarantee if Brooks went to Newcastle and they were winning games the Brooks supporters would all be banging on about his contribution.
Team sport Hastings is playing his part well and Newcastle are doing well on the back of it.
