I was pushing for Bradman Best nearly a year ago when he was unsigned for 2024 and reportedly unhappy where he was .. Our Brainstrust didn't show any interest and since then he has resigned become happier and starred in SOO . Early this year many were giving us open mind .Now we are loserville !

I wouldn't mind Max Feagai. Good pedigree, good size. We have worse outside backs than him playing first grade this weekend.

Not interested in Bradman Best on big dollars. Even against us he looks bad defensively. No doubt he can run a decent line and is a big body, but I think that type of player, who doesn't have defensive technique and understanding worked out, really gets exposed at our club.

Toa repeatedly fended off best , and found half chances with his In and away and fend .
Centre is the hardest position in the field to defend . The best defender in the comp had Toa put a clinic on him a few rounds before .
Not saying Toa is a first grader but more that it’s hard to judge on 1 play . Even 1 game

wait, so you don’t want Bradman Best because you’re worried about an uncapped Flegg player not getting his shot? I rate Feledy highly but Best is proven pedigree and has played at the highest level.

if anything having Best in the building will be good for Josh, and they may well end up playing in the same side anyways.

Seyfarth has been one of our most creative, if not our most creative forwards prior to his injury. His ball playing has seen our forwards make breaks/half breaks and his impact off the bench is good. He would also be on a modest contract which is required in a 30 player squad. Why spend all the time nuturing him, after all he has come through our juniors only to let him leave so another club can enjoy all our hardwork?

This year not overly concerned but upgrade James & sign for 2024. Also upgrade Da Silva. Already signed for 2024.

Then Sezer, Sullivan & Staines would be nice to start.

Going forward release Ngatikuara & either Naden, Kepaoa or Nofoaluma.

Seyfarth resigned & hopefully sign a good wing/centre option. Not a lot available for 2024 though.
