OFFICIAL Sheens gone

I think you will find it’s a very different approach from Benji once he has full control and doesn’t have to justify any decisions he makes ti anybody else.
I’m certain Benji will be a great coach, get behind him and give him a fair chance.
I would love to give him a fair chance, but would really have liked him to have 5/6 years coaching in a lower level to gain experience...The NRL is a big arena many have had the dream of playing or coaching at this level only to be shattered by what it takes to produce week in week out...
Benji will really feel the strain once he is in complete charge and HE HAS TO ANSWER for the poor performances and what his solution is...GOOD LUCK Benji, your gunna need it....

Why are you so confident?
I think Benji will follow Tim out the door.

TrueTiger you are under estimating Benji, wait and see.

Exactly. I would wager many losses this year were on Benji and he didn’t face the music for them at all. Tim took the fall every time.

club statement was soft and angled poorly about pathways and development. pathetic from Warren and his staff and those above who approved it.

Sheens is the head coach, he is stepping down due to a number of factors, don't try and spin it away from that to minimise criticism. if they wanted to go down the positive route, there's a club legend who's about to take the reins, why not go in that direction? hopeless.

If they want to get real. Clean the office out. Otherwise it was very well angled. Take the limelight of the cancer.

2 games, 5 games...so what?
Heres a scenario for you.
Next year we win 5 games but receive our third spoon in a row. Api, Klemmer, Bateman are all a year older and have slowed down considerably, returning numbers way lower than this year. Steph, Pole and Tupou have signed elsewhere for season 25. Benji is about to get whacked. Our halves dont gel and are worse than expected resulting in Wakeham continuing to be our first choice through necessity. We continue to miss signing anyone of worth, so 25 looks just as bleak. Sponsors dont renew. Memberships are down. We are the whipping boys in the press and the punchline of all NRL supporters world wide after a second documentary is commissioned. Our reserve grade side comes last by 10 points and a clean out is ordered as they havent made the stepup. DaSilva and Faagatu suffer ACL tears that will mean they miss most of season 25. etc, etc...

Its all good though, we won 2 more games than this year! You watch us go next year, we are improving. Yay
Glass half full type of bloke eh? Why bother 'supporting' the club? Atleast allow them a chance before you put the boot in.

In the meantime we have Robert, Lee and
Exactly Give him 5 years. Its not like you don't know the routine
No give Benji 2 years, one to get us off the bottom, two to make the top 8.
We have so many supporters who know more than Google. They know for certain it’s all Benji’s fault for this seasons results, know for certain there won’t be any improvement in the next couple of seasons etc.
Will be plenty eating humble pie when we come good.

My point is, how will Benji react when he gets dragged every week for his poor coaching and results?
Can’t sweet talk his way out of the scrutiny he’ll be under.
Nor you - if you keep paying for membership, hot dogs plus beer, chook raffle and your kids having to eat McDonald's 3 times a week and the scrutiny from your Mrs.

Google. Who needs education anymore. Google has all the answers to life. Google - when is the best time for my body to take a crap?
