3rd Generation Fan Leaving After 50 years

The negativity minus the constructive feedback with alternatives exposes their various agendas.

I hope some are at least paid to post.

Sadly this forum has degenerated and is starting to become a tool shed.

What agendas? Winning? I hope you mean winning and not what I think you mean.

Can't blame anyone for feeling this way.

Eventually Lee will be gone and we won't have to hear about how he's suing because someone wasn't nice to him.

Exactly it is each to their own.
These drongos criticise me and anyone else who ever say anything positive about the club moving forward and criticise anyone with the belief Benji will be a good coach.
Is it not a supporter forum, not a negativity forum or whinge fest ?
People can say what they want. I just don’t see any justification given the last 12 years.

I get it. Week after drab, disappointing week. Over and over. Even when they win, you know they will soon be back to losing. I can understand people bailing out. Same old same old, year after turgid year.

I guess I'm just curious to see how things play out. The WT have Api, plus good big boppers, and some young backs who show promise once they learn to adjust their formations in defence. Will John Morris's experience help make up for Benji's rawness? Can Api win more games through sheer willpower? Will Bateman rediscover the form he had with the Raiders? Will Sezer and Sullivan's organisation finally click the team into gear? Will Manly suddenly find themselves losing games they should be winning? Will the gronks in the front office learn to shut up? Will there be another in-depth movie about this ground-breaking team, the first ever to come 17th?

BYO popcorn

You can never judge anyone for doing what they think is best for them. You never know someone’s life circumstances or what they are going through. Sometimes something can up in life that puts things into perspective and you can think “why do I even bother with this s&*t?”

You can dwell on the past or look to the future.
Rumours that Mark O’Neill might be returning as our CEO which wouldn’t be a bad thing, the more people from our successful 2005 era involved the better.
As for the Chairman and Board, I don’t see how it would make Wests Tigers chance of success for the next 5 years any better or worse if they were to stay or go.

That's accepting mediocrity, which I don't have a problem with. But don't expect everyone to be the same and not voice their opinions.

There have been tough times at WTs but when conditions get tough, strong people take action. With Morris appointed yesterday, we've a good man to have on our side in such circumstances. Adversity acts as a stimilus to people with strong character.
Who are the strong people at our Club?

I know plenty of fans of those 3 clubs and I can tell you none of them care what happened in the past, they are all devastated about how this season has turned out for them and not a lot of optimism that next season will be any better.
Those clubs are always in the fight and usually participating at the pointy end.
Those fans would be deadset suicidal if they supported our pissweak club.

I saw my first Wests Magpies match way back in 1963 and followed the Magpies right up to the merger with Balmain at Pratten Park and Lidcombe Oval and have been a Wests Tigers fan ever since so I'm closing in on 60 years as a fan. Hasn't been a lot of silverware in all those years (2005 excepted) but I still support the club and always will.

I’m not sure whether that’s a typo or you’ve returned from the future to tell us that things are going to improve!

Unfortunately I’ll be dead by then.
