I doubt it because TiM is gone,next year will probably be poor also but i am not expecting the wooden spoon.At this stage with our current roster i would be looking at 13/14

We are favourites for the spoon already in 24 ......
What the bookies say is only weight of money and peoples perception,if we had been even adequately coached this year we would not have "won" the spoon

New halves new backline next year.
This game was a joke but then we had a backline of guys out of position, on debut . Noff pulling out late and Reilly injured 1st half.
Steph and Bateman.
Add to Belinda Sharpe's inability to keep up with the play and I counted 8 forward passes to Manly...1 led directly to a try and 2 others in lead up to tries and Evans dud try.
Point is can't use this game as any measure for next year.

People think our halves were our biggest weakness in 2023 ....wait until 2024 ....quote me if I'm wrong this time next year
Lol i live in hope and a lot of hope is coming from the fact that we have a good coach in Morris being an assistant to Benji.He has the respect of current players by many accounts and that should help with team bonding

It is as clear as day we are easily the worst squad in the comp.
Our attack is uninspired, uncreative and incompetent.
Our defence is absolutely without structure and in most cases also incompetent.
Our attack under the highball in both attack and defence is clueless.
and most importantly…WE HAVE NO SPEED.
DCE is approaching his 35th birthday cake and he effortlessly cut us to shreds.

We haven’t got the cattle Jad.
Our back 5 are poor. Bula has a go but he is struggling now. Our halves next year are an ENORMOUSLY risky collection of individuals. The forwards have had their spirits broken. I wonder how they will approach next year.
Benji isn’t a coach and to be honest, Morris ain’t much either.

Mate i understand where you are coming from but Benji needs time which he was not really given,i believe Morris will help in that regard.Sheens delivered exactly what i expected and feared,a shambles of a season and the fraud has been paid out.This year our halves were a massive issue and next year will probably be the same but at least they are younger and hopefully will develop into what we need

Benji was our attacking coach this year and did a lot of game day stuff and ran training sessions.
He doesn’t need time…he never deserved his appointment in the first place. As a coach he is kilometres out of his depth.
Without addressing the weaknesses in the squad - which at this point is questionable we are treading water . When Woods makes Klemmer look pedestrian, and we have got him for another 3 years and the forwards are considered to be less of a problem than the backs.. we have got a firm grip on the spoon barring some miracle
