2023 NRL Finals General Discussion thread *Spoilers*

Sharks didn't deserve to win, but yet another horrible ref call costs a game. Keary raked the ball, but no surprise at all Sutton let's it go.

VLandys has killed rugby league by going back to one ref. He needed to stick with 2 but tweak how it worked. So much is missed in the ruck now.

The strip was about as blatant as it gets. I would love it to be the result of ref connivance but gross f*cking incompetence is the most likely explanation. Sutton is utterly inept.

Yep we always talk about the refs will one day decide a finals match and that no call with 7:51 to go was it. So obvious that Keary rakes it but the ref, touch judge and video ref all turn a blind eye. Roosters get the field goal and win. Sutton gets his brown paper bag on the way home.

And now for the 9th year in a row we are guaranteed a grand final featuring one of the Roosters, Storm or Panthers. I’m done with this sport.

Bill harrigan says it would cost 3 mill to have 2 ref's again so probably won't happen
