I know it can't happen and I stay out of the debate but now I'll join the rally which won't occur.

It's not his passion, drive or work ethic that are the issue though. Those things are great, but only form part of the package required of a coach/official.

It's his apparent complete lack of communication and interpersonal skills that are of massive concern, he pisses off way too many people by going about things the way he does. You need to be able to build working relationships with players, coaches, management, agents, you can't go around with vendettas and grudges, burning bridges etc when you hold more senior positions.
He has to prove himself outside of WT, then and only then may he come under consideration for senior positions at WT

I've mentioned before that i've got an idea, i just haven't had much time to develop and implement it. And we also need a huge groundswell of support to get behind it over a short period of time to get maximum impact from it. Maybe can get it off the ground this weekend

The talent is there, but the club desperately needs some continuity.

Benji will have ups and downs as coach, particularly next year, but if they jump off him after 18 months after saying he had the backing for at least 3 years, then the 5 year plan just starts again...

Interesting. Mate who has kids at Scots just sent me the link to watch the GPS Athletics Champs which were on earlier today. Onitoni Large ran a 10.93 into a headwind in 31 degrees to win the champs as a 16 year old. Haemasi Makasini ran a couple of races earlier also.

That's wild, no wonder the hype for this kid is so high.
Sounds like he has all the tools in the bag, here's hoping he's got it between the ears too.

Farah is a polarizing figure and he wears his heart on his sleeve. As with anyone who does that, it irritates people sometimes. But he has always been a loyal WT even through the years of mismanagement his loyalty remained for the club. When you consider he is a player with an education and possibilities outside of RL, he is at the club for the correct reason; to help the club.

Farah assisted Damian Cook who acknowledged the role he played in developing his game even though they were playing for the 9 jumper. That probably highlights his unselfishness and seems inconsistent with your description of him lacking communication and interpersonal skills. He also seems to have had the respect of players and there is no greater example than his role in the Tedesco saga. The fact he captained his club and State also suggests he has very good leadership qualities. This quote at a press conference best sums up Robbie Farah. I must say I admire his brutal honesty which wouldn't go down well with some -

“Some of you (the media) I like, some of you I don’t. The good thing about me is that if I don’t like you, you’ll know about it.”

Yes. He is sought of cool. I love it when he calls out Wests Tigers. Feel his passion for Wests Tigers. And didn't just the other day call out the Roosters the other day? Salary cap stuff.

This whole"" lets get the band back together"" bs started with Sheens ridiculous elevation to the top slot post McGuire ...then ensuing Benji's anointment for 5 years despite being totally unproven ,..and look how well that worked so far!!
Facilitating this cosy relationship with Benjis buddies is a Board level problem..starting with the CEO and going north of there
Wish we had hired a proven coach like Dragons.
Hope Im wrong,but think were "challenged" for quite a few more years
