Yes. He is raw though and could be turned into something great with some help.Original post said “Bula looks very ordinary”. Surely that’s a piss take
And objectively terrible.I reckon Aitken he has been mentioned about coming to us a few times over. Played with Benji at St George and is an experienced ‘defensive minded’ centre.
Yawn. And what have we done , put our whole future on kids , god help us
Agree, plus Pap is made of glass.I don't believe Papa can make Bula a better player. I think Papa could add to our team though. If anything I think Papa is more of a risk than Bula due to injuries.
I also don't think Bula looks ordinary. I'm hopeful he'll become a really good first grader and I'm fine with the club giving him an overpaid contract at this point in his career. He was one of our best players last year.
So are you saying we avoid centres who have been part of successful backlines? Apart from the hiring of our coach, isn’t that what we’ve been doing? Has it been working?Id avoid tass any player playing on the left edge for south’s looks like the greatest centre on earth then they get to a club like ours and they look like a plodder
How about we get him a FB coach instead. If we think he can be that good then invest in him, pay what ever it takes to get slater here for the off season.I still think bula will be a solid player , but when see the two kids from the titans and storm killing it , bula looks very ordinary, that’s why I think papa coming here to teach bula his trade would be great for the kid
In what area is he a million miles from where we need him to be .Be specificWasn't too long ago Daine Lauries' deficiencies at Fullback couldn't be pointed out without getting howled down with many of the same justifications I'm seeing for Bula now....
I like Bula, Good kid with infinite potential....
But he's a million miles from where we need him to be.
And unlike most other young kids coming into grade at other clubs
- He'll have no where to hide at WT's,
Very little back up - On the park, and should he need a spell from Firsts like all kids do...
and, not many blokes to help him through the next 2 years.
And 5kg of muscle.. he'll improve with each off seasonBula is a work in progress for sure but he’s way beyond the promising stage for me
His defensive plays this year show me he’s a smart footballer not just a gifted athlete
International experience, a full off season and hopefully a better performing team in front of him, I’m thinking he’ll lift considerably on what we’ve already seen
Oh dear. I think these boys have a lot of talent but gee someone needs to pull them in to line quick smart. At least it wasn’t murder………Lee may have to give Samuela a lift to training:
Samuela Fainu committed seven speeding offences and three counts of driving while disqualified or suspended in the short few years he’s spent behind the wheel, Sydney’s Downing Centre District Court was told on Tuesday.

We hope at least one.I see, it’s getting tense.
Only a week to go before we start signing some big names 😂
Yeah, im concerned about the fainus. It make the case for luai stronger. We need to hedge our bets with these kids. Their mum seems lovely, so they have no excuse there, but they seem to need a lot of work to be good young men.Lee may have to give Samuela a lift to training:
