I hope they can close out a game when our forwards have put it on a platter for them.Honestly I’m expecting a different side in 2024. Having actual halves on the team is gunna help…
Sounds like the yearly Brooks article rehashed, let’s hope it means something this time.Sullivan is ready to call the shots at the Tigers. At just 22 years of age, and with only 27 NRL appearances, Tigers coach Benji Marshall wants to hand the former Dragons playmaker the keys to the team from his first day of preseason training on Monday. "Benji just pretty much told me straight up, he just wants me to come and own the team and make my mark,” Sullivan said. “I feel like that’s when I’ll play my best footy, when I have ownership and a bigger responsibility.”
Sounds like Sullivan is going to be number 7, which probably makes Fainu number 6 and Sezer back up for both.
I can’t see Fainu starting. No way will they be the starting halves. Sezer will partner Sullivan to start.Sullivan is ready to call the shots at the Tigers. He doesn't pack enough punch in attack or defence to play lock. Doesn't have the ball skills either.#13 for mine.
Plays a role we've lacked for too long.
Perfect link man, playing like Yeo - but more aggressive.
Pushing Twal and Pole to the bench, into the prop rotation, where they also offer their most impact.
Easy Tiger, don’t go dissing Benji. The yearly Brooks article was the yearly Marshall rehashed article.
I love the guy too, but can’t deny how problematic he has been post-2011Easy Tiger, don’t go dissing Benji.
Still love ya Benji.
Sadly I envisage he won't be in our top 13 come the final round next yearBuddy hell I hope he hits the ground running and kills it.
herbal tea;s are bad ok aaaaaaaSadly I envisage he won't be in our top 13 come the final round next year
I think the 13 will be vital for us. I can see Sezer playing one side of the ruck and controlling his side. I am not sure either Fain or Sullivan are either experienced enough or are those style of players. From what I have seen of them they are runners and not organisers. Seyfarth (or Matamua) may need to play a link role and straighten the attack allowing Sullivan/Fainu more space.I agree Pole isn’t a 13 he’s a bench Prop I just don’t know if Seyfarth can take on the 13 full time. It is our weakest position in the forward pack.
Have you taken your blinkers off?I love the guy too, but can’t deny how problematic he has been post-2011
John Bateman got man of the match in tonight's test match
Yep, that tracks with the type of decisions made out of concord recently.Sounds like Sullivan is going to be number 7, which probably makes Fainu number 6 and Sezer back up for both.
That's because the Poms know how to use him. They know he'll get the offload away so there's always someone with him waiting for that to happen. Our blokes just set up for the next play.John Bateman got man of the match in tonight's test match
I expect Sullivan to be the 7. It is only on this forum that I've seen people calling him a 6. Everything else I've ever read and heard and from the little I've seen of him he is a 7.Sullivan is ready to call the shots at the Tigers. I’ve said 1000 times, Brooks has no leadership qualities at all. Sullivan walhh in a in a room and he has arrogance and presence - love it!The yearly Brooks article was the yearly Marshall rehashed article.
