With a strong character such as Richo as CEO, I don’t think the board will argue with anything he says.Wests Ashfield retains hire and fire rights of the directors of the NRL franchise.
The problem was it was Lee and Pascoe who pursued the failed sheens recoveryI wasn't overly against Fulton coming in....
1 - He's got a better track record than WMac in the last 10 years...
(He wasn't selling real estate in the SW before we employed him for a start)
2 - Sheens surrounded himself with yes men last time he was here and had anyone moved on who tried to challenge him....
An outside voice would never be a bad thing.
3 - Sheens and WMac kicked this all off 10 years ago....
I think Fulton was there to give the higher ups a voice at recruitment level as they knew they'd have none with Sheens.
There is another COE being built at Campbelltown but I don’t think it’ll be as big as the one in Concord. As in terms of the stadium it needs a massive overhaul. Plus attendance needs fixing before making the move. If it does happen it’ll still be a few years away at least. The problem is, Cambo Stadium is a dive, no one ever turns up there and we always lose there.
Plus if you moved the entire operation out there long term it's a harder sell to get players to move out there, unless you kept all the training operations at Concord which is much closer to the city
He loves the club, the job probably just didn't suit his skillset.I like Lee, it's well documented on here but
he knocked on 20 out. Things could have/
should have been different, but here we are
He loves the club, the job probably just didn't suit his skillset.
He's copped a heap of unfair criticism about his interview today, but to me he was very restrained considering what happened to him yesterday.
Whatever you think of him the way it was handled covered nobody in glory.
This pedantry and sophistry is insane......WT's Board

4/7 Board Members effectively 'sacked themselves'
Fix up Cambo Ala Comm Bank . Put the junior COE next to it . Have the main base at concord for corporate and player attractiveness reasons .The problem is, Cambo Stadium is a dive, no one ever turns up there and we always lose there.

No I didnt "assume". you are assuming. I know for a fact what Cavanagh accused regarding governance issues from Cavanaghs own mouth, even further, Cavanagh documented his allegations in an official complaint to ASIC which was duly ignored. But Gallagher didn’t say what Cavanagh was right about did he. No you just assumed.
What position is that? Sacked from his unpaid position from an unrelated organisation? What position, relative to WT does Cavanagh hold? The bloke is a grifter of the highest order and shouldnt be spoken of in the context of these changes. many more much more deserving. If Cavanagh had an opinion about Lee and Pascoe being arrogant and it is highlighted in this latest WT development wasn’t he right to some extent despite whether we all thought similar. The difference is all is Joe nobodies haven’t been in the same position as Cavanagh to make that evaluation first hand.
LOL yesterday the sky was fallingThat's the way it's going to go.
Leichhardt conoisuers may be a tad disappointed with the direction the club takes post review.
Strategy wise our future lies in the south west.
No doubt.
The ole dinosaurs kept Jurassic Park alive.
Good call, I wasn’t sure I was correct when I mentioned the name.John Dorahy could be even better. 🤣 🤣
Still wrongYou are the last person to talk about not wanting to be corrected. I appreciate your comments most of the time, but please also display a little self-awareness.
Was he correct?Wait till he pings you for typos. 😉
Oh Lordy. No I didnt "assume". you are assuming. I know for a fact what Cavanagh accused regarding governance issues from Cavanaghs own mouth, even further, Cavanagh documented his allegations in an official complaint to ASIC which was duly ignored.
Gallagher and you are twisting in the wind trying to make it make sense but you are both now gotten to the point where Cavanaghs input into this process is the same as yours, mine, Gallaghers and 97.3% of the forum....bravo.....point made.
What position is that? Sacked from his unpaid position from an unrelated organisation? What position, relative to WT does Cavanagh hold? The bloke is a grifter of the highest order and shouldnt be spoken of in the context of these changes. many more much more deserving.
