HBG, WSDRLFC & BDRLFC dismissed the entire board...all of them immediate effect. They then created a NEW, interim board of which Danny Stapleton is a member.

It's not a Cheese Board mate... It's made up of names and faces, that make decisions.
You hide those names and faces behind whatever label you see fit.
The reality, (Where I prefer to concentrate) Is those names, and faces - are / were (for the majority) the same...

I'm not sure what purpose trying to disassociate them from one board to the next serves you,

This is the way I understand it as well. 4 person interim board is a temporary measure.

You need one from the old Board as embedded corporate memory. The new board needs to do things differently but to do that they need to know what has already been considered and avoid previous pitfalls and maintaining corporate memory is a very valuable method of this. Whilst I personally agree with you regarding the skills Stapleton offers the new board, he is probably the one i'd pick to be retained to provide this role (since Simon Cook previously stood down).

Only losers were Pascoe and Lee. Pascoe was done. Lee will be back on the board some day.
