OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Galvin looks 2 years away from top grade.

Big enough and fast enough but his movement speed isn't quick enough.

Probably not strong enough yet for his frame.
If his "movement speed"is inadequate at 85 kgs,you cant see it improving at 95-100kgs where he need to be to play NRL at 6 4
Matterson/Curtis Sironen 2.0

Jamie Humphreys son of Stephen Humpty dumpty Humprhies?
Yes he is.
Was a halfback or 5/8 who has converted to playing hooker.
I watched a few of Manly’s lower grade games via the NSWRL live stream mainly out of interest in the Fainu brothers once I heard we were keen on them.
Young Humphries looks a handy player, seems to have a more than handy kicking game, a good goal kicker and runs the ball well.
Back on the topic of young Galvin, will he or won’t he play NRL this season ?
It’s all a matter of opinion and obviously comes down to his form, personally I think he has what it takes to play NRL this season and I think it will happen much sooner than many think it will.

I don't see him debuting this year personally, but I also didn't see Da Silva, Laulili'i and Feledy debuting either. there is absolutely no doubting his talent but you have to remember he hasn't even been capped at Flegg level yet.

I think he's definitely going to turn some heads in Flegg and Cup but he has a lot to work on, mainly with his body and defensively against grown men. if he sorts those two things out and an injury or two occurs later in the season, then who knows?

I agree. I also don't think those mentioned should have debuted last year. None were ready and their performances showed as much.

I think it was Sheens convaluted approach to the Pathways project , showing all the juniors that there was a light at the end of the tunnel.
But he did recognise Bula and didn’t hold back, something hopefully we’ll be eternally grateful for.

Simpkin has never looked like a FG player imho,at best a solid/decent reggie.Liddle was always better

I agree. Bit of a 1 trick pony TBH. Gets bowled
over in defence, can't remember the last time
he put one or his forwards onto the ball in the
red zone and he can't kick. Talyn is better than
him already imo, it sounds harsh but it's true.
Hasn't showed anything besides his scampers
from dummy half from 5 out. A bit slow as well

Galvin's got an ace PR team behind him me thinks....
hes called Isaac Moses..who has called all 16 other clubs with his highlights reel from schoolboys
Despite him having just committed to WTs for next 3 years
Just doesnt understand common decency and doing the right thing for the long term vs short term opportunistic gains
Shld still be banned for other grub acts, but somehow...
