I honestly believe Richo, will get an attack coach, similar to what Bomber is as defensive coach next year and he parachuted into a management role in the organisation. I believe our defense has improved dramatically under Bomber Morris and now we need someone to do the same in attack.

There’s been marginal gains.
The attitude has improved, at times we have looked incompetent but overall, we are slowly turning the tap off when it comes to points scored against.
Our last 9 games in 2023 resulted in 27.2/game
Our first 9 games in 2024 resulted in 22.4/game
Essentially we are 1 try/game better off so far this year so that is improvement, however comparing the start of a season to the end of a previous when you came last gives a slanted view. There are too many variables. If we compare to the start of last year;
Our first 9 games in 2023 resulted in 22.9/game, which is very similar.
In 2024 we are the 8th ranked defence after round 10.
In 2023 we were the 8th ranked defence after round 10.
Stats don’t tell the whole story and the sample size is small at this stage…I would say our overall defence has strengthened but not enough to justify spending the entire pre season on it.

good stats there!! Hopefully we can hang in there on defense as season goes on, but as you say doesnt look there has not been a great time spent on attack as we look very disjointed
