why let some other club benefit, its about principle
Well....its how we play football...hoik up a bomb and give the fullback plenty of room to catch it and make 10 or 15m before we think of tackling him

I’m second guessing myself but I thought I read earlier somewhere that he’s had permission for a monthTiming is impeccable of course … ice just had his best game at the Tigers last game after moving to 13…
can’t wait a bit longer to see how he goes ?
nah … let’s agree straight away he can leave ..,,
I’m sure the other clubs will be desperate to pay the full freight next year considering how big of a hurry they are to move him on
I think theyre both competing for the same future spot. As you said we dont need 2.Twal and Seyfarth have been cut from the same cloth as Matt Eisenhuth. No thrills, dependable and what you see is what you get. Every team needs a player like that to do the dirty yards, I'm just not sure we need two of them.
Lucky he is a local junior coming thruSam Fainu has basically replaced him. One signing that will pan out to be strong. Kids a beast.
It's funny how Latu was the big news. Yet Sam Fainu is the one that has had impact for us on the field.Sam Fainu has basically replaced him. One signing that will pan out to be strong. Kids a beast.
I hope so .. he is the only one that pts in week in week outdon't think so. Bateman's our VC and is a big part of the culture they're trying to create. like it or not, I think we've got him for the long run.
As a few others have eluded to, Latu has not yet played for us fully fit and not hampered by his hamstring and has barely played any NRL in his best position in the halves. It's funny how Latu was the big news. Yet Sam Fainu is the one that has had impact for us on the field.
Keaon Koloamatangi would be a great swap.Richo is much smarter than our previous recruitment/retention team.
I don’t believe he will let Papali’i go early without a suitable player swap.
Many possibilities, one could be a swap for Tallis Duncan ?
He would be, but he starts and plays 80 every week, that’s probably not the type of player Souths would be letting go.Keaon Koloamatangi would be a great swap.

Why would we even contemplate letting one of these two go ?Out of the 2 i think Seyfarth is the better option for the future (contract permitting)
Seyfarth has the edge over Alex if you go by stats. But I think both would easily fit into any teams rotation.Out of the 2 i think Seyfarth is the better option for the future (contract permitting)

I agree neither are dynamic game changing style of players and therefore having both on the bench is not ideal, but neither are on contracts that are hurting us or preventing us from signing other quality players. Even if only one of them plays NRL and the other plays NSW Cup when we are full strength, surely nobody can whinge about them as squad depth players ?
Seriously those who still think we are getting value from paying Bateman 700k but not happy with the value being provided by Twal at 400k or Seyfarth at 200k can’t be serious.
He’s been terrible. Always gives away crucial penalties and loves a push and shove. Goose.I agree Bateman is a waste of money and i was saying that when Sheens was chasing him
