Richo & Benji have stated multiple times that the only way we’ll know about a player signing is when the club officially announces it or when the deal is basically done like In Turuvas case.

That's 16 ! 13 of which are doing well in 1st grade at their new home .
Only Peachy and Laurie and Nu Brown don't get much of a run ..
Throw in Douehi virtually gone , Papalii probably played his last game and both wingers a couple of years ago Nofoaloma and Maumalo gone for good
The topic Recruitment should also include Retention and on paper our losses outweigh our gains .
Now with 8 unavailable and a very weak cup side we are struggling to put 17 genuine NRL level quality footballers on the paddock

Meanwhile, the Wests Tigers are on the verge of parting ways with hooker Jake Simpkin. The 22-year-old is on a deal worth around $400,000 this year but the Tigers are in discussions with the Manly Sea Eagles about an immediate exit.

The sticking point remains how many years the Sea Eagles are willing to offer him beyond the end of this season.

Tbf, the club were quick to extend him after his first two games when he looked reasonably good. Weren’t too many complaints at the time.

I actually thought the same thing myself.. Tallyn is a better player imo, much better, and Tallyn loves the club, so i was Always puzzled by Jake seeming to have the inside lane.. now it makes a bit more sense if that was indeed the thinking.. Jake tries hard and has a big heart but Tallyn is the future and a kid called Ashton Large I think will be a potential superstar that will be coming into grade around the time Api might be looking to mentor someone.. 🤔
