Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I want to pay out on my many Manly supporting mates for being interested in Simpkin … but I’m sure they will just remind me of when I paid out on them for signing Tommy Talau and he is now one of their best backs …
Tommy has got himself fitter and is more committed than he ever was with us, he’s still a yard too slow to be a top quality centre.

Sezer v Coggee. Bud was a gift to the manager that brought the Fainus.
I think you are on the money.
Obviously we paid about double of what Sullivan’s true value is and that’s the problem, but he is a talented ball runner.
If he could somehow improve his kicking game, improve his defence and improve his effort areas, he would become a very good halve.

Lots of suggestions here and I get it.

The only thing I have confidence in is Richo knows better than most of us and would be doing everything he can to keep and sign the players we want, get rid of the players we don’t want.

Benji I’m not sure of as coach - but again I reckon Richo will give him time to see what he can do but will make changes if and when he can.

I imagine Mrs Buttface has a taste for the finer things in life.
Only what I’ve shown her. Champagne taste, beer caps in her pockets. She’s not a fan of spending her money.
She calls me the spend thrift, but really when I say I’m not eating at maccas or staying in a caravan, she’s cheering.

It seems to me that Benji has a secret yearning to be accepted into the more illustrious and well heeled strata of society. An itch he needs to scratch.

Hes admitted to buying some of his stuff from ikea, that’s simply not going to cut it in civilised society these days.

Undermines the purported architectural aesthetic proposition of the linear theme.
You using chat Gpt to write this mate ? No idea what the fish you are saying. We are Wests Tigers supporters, keep it simple !

Wests Tigers love a mid-season fire sale with nothing in return except some loose change, but Brad Parker, Clayton Faulalo and Ray Vaega are three players we could conceivably ask for that would improve our stocks in the backs.

again, expecting nothing in return but it sure would be nice.

Lachlan Croker must be seriously considering retirement from the neck injury if you are targeting a guy like Simpkin mid season
I think the reserve hookers such as Simpkin and TDS too have to develop some utility value and also be able to cover backrow. You can only have 1 full on hooker in the team and their need for a break in a match obviously has to cone from the bench. You only have 4 spots on bench and setting 1 aside for a specialist hooker to cover a specialist hooker without being unable to do any other work in the team rotation sort of wrecks / limits Max value of the bench. Good luck to Simpkin and his future but obviously our need/ use of him was not best value fir either the club or himself.

They all get more committed when they go to Manly..Paseka..Aloi...good consistent 1st graders.
Paseka went from our SG Ball team so wasn't really 'with us' and Aloiai was plenty committed with us. I don't think you're on the money here. Did Kelma Tuilagi become more committed? Is Aitasi James still sitting in reserve grade now more committed? Aaron Woods too.
