OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

I think we give this kid a good old fashion booing next home game when he takes the field

It’s turned David faffita around from joining the roosters and it prevented Payne hass from leaving the broncos

It’s a delicate situation it could really brake the kid but I hopefully it makes him realise he isn’t bigger than the club

I must admit it would be hard to boo him he has been great for us this year

Does anyone know exactly what was said in the sheds?? Or do we really believe the sloth b/s??

according to the grapevine what the sloth reported is not the full context of what was actually said by Galvin. Yes unhappy at the loss and the season, is jacked by certain people not putting in a effort.

The problem I see with now with Richo now beating his chest about Galvin being contracted, you cant on one hand say the player is under contract and we wont be releasing him while on the other hand shop players around that are on contract and completely contradict what you are saying re loyalty and fulfilling your contractual agreement.

We as a club always leave ourselves open for being criticised by the media. And a lot of our fans have the same train of thought. You cant have your cake and eat it too and then wonder why we are up sh!t creek on a daily basis.

And if its true that Galvin has been playing with a fractured hand that's poor form on the clubs part. You cant expect a young kid to be happy that he is forced to play while other players injured and another kid the same age, in the same position on half a million a year is continually sitting out due to an injury.

Its not any of the players faults but the WT administration (past and present) because we have no depth WHATSOEVER, All the kids we keep spruiking about coming through are not setting the world on fire in NSW Cup (I think the team is coming last), if we end up rushing them through too, injuries will be bound to follow.
The club has every right to seek to balance the cap and fill gaps in the squad.

Secondly, these players are not regular first graders on decent contracts. If they can get a start elsewhere, it benefits both parties.

If it's by mutual decision, it's fine. The Galvin situation is not mutual.

I'm sure there's lots of WT players and coaches on here

Was told he said .. I just want to get out of here ...

As in go home and relax after a bad lost like having a bad day at work

We should make a soap opera. Richo can be "The Phantom of Leichhardt", Benji can play his lover. The team can play Zombies with a starring role from a drunken Kent who comes out swinging.

The thought of Richo being anyone’s lover is not a pleasant one ..

Wally Lewis was a case of a great player but very average coach. There’s been plenty of them and I think Benji might be another one.

My point was about Wally playing for the Gold Coast…Im comparing that to JL coming here and not being able to do it all on his own

Please do not put Galvin and hunt in the same comparison world. Hunt steers the ship around does all the little things right. Plus he’s been doing it for years not two minutes. Without Hunt drag queens would be not much better than us. Galvin playing we are still 2-10, 9 in a row hardly crucial.
Hunt is 34. Galvin is 18.

Wally was a spent force, given the boot by the Broncos as I remember it.
Luai's at the peak of his career.

Spent force ? He was still playing Origin the first year he went … He was 32 ,,,

He is also one of the greatest players of all time ..Luai is good but couldnt carry Wally’s jock strap …

He is certainly one of our best 17 already .. and you would imagine he will keep improving as he gets more experience…

Let’s hope it stays that way … Do you recall what happened with Moses when he stopped trying?
Was kicking stones at training I think his last game for us was the one where he gave nofo a spray and touched the ball 3 times all game, turd should have been done for match fixing.
