Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Some players to enquire about that could improve the team on cheap deals. I know people will say the are signed but if they are stuck in Reggie’s they would leave for a opportunity.

Hau Tupuha from Sharks would be amazing. They are stacked for props & add in AFB on $1mill next season. He is a big unit that brings punch from the bench with lots of potential. Kind of reminds me of a less lazy Franklin Pele lol

As others have said Parker or Faulalo from Blacktown are both good enough for first grade & I think would be open to leave if given a chance at centre.

Probably the most unrealistic but Tallis Duncan in & out of the south’s 17 this year + is stuck behind Cam Murray. At 22 I think he’d feel ready to take on a better challenge & would be a great ball playing lock to play a bit like Yeo does with Luai

any of these guys would improve the team while still having plenty for a marquee signing
I certainly like what I have seen from Tupuha.

I think Parker or Fualalo would be most realistic as they have both gone down the pecking order with Talau playing good & young Hopoate also stepping up in the backs. Couldnt hurt to add a solid centre 🤷‍♂️

Faulalo - 10 tries, 14 try assists, 9 line breaks, and averages 140 metres in 14 games so far this year. Can play wing or centre
Faulalo appears to be a good attacking player, not a great defender.
Parker certainly brings NRL experience as well as a bit of size and experience, he would add value at the right price.
Any of the Sharks props would be good, they have about 6-7 good ones.

Maybe Hunt, he’s a big strong unit !

I wouldn't up the anti------ the $$$ offered are fair for what he has shown in the past; and more than what he has shown recently.
$2 mil. to spend on recruitments if he goes should attract some juicy applicants!
Fully agree hasn’t shown anything in his career at the tigers to up that offer, some would say even that is overs

I reckon Erin Clarke from the Titans would be a good recruit for the same reasons you have mentioned.
Obviously not as highly talented as Cheese, but would come without the headaches that Cheese causes.
Jazz Tevega is another, good impact player.

Richo confirmed we have $1m in the cap free currently & if Stefano doesn’t stay we have close to $2m. That’s a chunk to go to market not counting in players we are looking to move on.

Not a bad cap situation to be in, let’s hope incomings are about to happen.
And we're playing like it too.
Problem is we can't fill it. We are a joke and have been for years now. Hopefully Luai can bring the mentality of winning here like Chricton is doing at the dogs. In my arm chair opinion player like Stef at 800k is not a good retainment. That cash he needs to be playing 60+ minutes a game. Yes he's big but he is a pillow. If Galvin doesn't want to be here then go. We have Latu who has been unlucky with the hammy injury. But the kid is a superstar. Put him next to Luai next season and we will be instantly better. Bula imo would make a great centre. Sign a weapon at 1 and two backrowers who can play 80. There's plenty out there. Dlyan Lucas from Newy I would go after. And luki from boys. Just to name a few. Blaze Tulagi I would offer FB money.

Good news!

I wondered why he didn't play NSW Cup on the weekend & some report he wasn't at the member's day yesterday.

That's 3 roster spots to fill by June 30.

Hopefully something is brewing not just promoting 3 development players.

Woo Hoo!!!
Set to capitalise? Hardly.
Flippers is exactly the type of player as to why we are so bad, the bottom of our barrel is so deep we dredge up sea creatures like flippers. He should go to sea world, one of the seals there might be able to teach him how to catch.

well well thankyou Panthers, have fun with flippers, that is some good new to hear on a Tuesday afternoon...yes we changed positions with him a bit, but he could not catch and defense was not good, good luck
